It all started with the Etch-A-Sketch statement and went down from there
    Corporations are people .... icon_rolleyes.gif

We don't need to care about the poor because they have a safety net?

The Gaffe train goes on and on

    ..... Oh and BTW?
Netanyahu made a statement that he was being dragged into the American election against his will .... I wonder who that might be? icon_cool.gif

It will be interesting to see what happens from this point on... will Romney "right the ship"? Of course how can you "right" a ship that was screwed up to start with, but will he move forward.....

Or will it eventually collapse? Should be intriguing to see!

hard to see how he "turns this thing around" now. I mean he's been running for or in public office since 2000, if he hasn't developed the instincts to avoid all the blunders he's made on this campaign by now i doubt he ever will.

hard to see him knocking it out of the park at the debates given his dismal performance in the '08 and 2012 primary debates.

you can put lipstick on a vulture capitalist but at the end of the day it's still a vulture capitalist

Yes, the next 6 weeks will certainly be interesting to say the least. I for one can hardly wait until it's all over with. I still think this election is up for grabs and could go either way. So many factors could tilt it one way or the other, and with things so crazy right now in the middle east, who knows what kind of world event could happen that would impact things radically one way or the other. Fasten your seat belts...turbulence ahead.

The triumph of hope over utter hopelessness.

On the morning of November 7th, after the Obama victory, Fox will tell its viewers that Romney won.

Fox viewers derive their "news" from no other source, so they will have no way of knowing that this is false. Consequently. when Obama is re-inaugurated in January, they're going to be convinced that there was a coup d'etat, and they will grab their guns and head into the streets.

That's my fear. Todd won't riot, but he won't believe Obama has won either. Socalfitness may actually be one of those who goes into the streets, where he will be joined by freedomisntfree.

My fear is that SoCal will go postal and act out his violent fantasies.
He has the address of at least two RJ progressive members - and has threatened to show up on at least one member's doorstep.
The reelection of President Obama could set him off.

    Be careful, guys.

This reminds me of the Ronald Reagan story about seeing a boy digging in a pile of horse shit. When asked what he was doing, the boy said, "With all this horse shit, there's gotta be a pony in here, somewhere."

A savvy politician would craft a clever response, in order to save his ass, starting with, "What I really meant was..."

    But, not Romney.
    He's not just stupid.
    He's stubborn and stupid.
