Now that's a step in the Right direction. The registered Democrats showed their true colors when they rejected him as the presidential nominee though.

This means that as the VP, he has little power and they still have to cater to their left wing commie side, meaning, we're in big trouble if these two get into the Whitehouse.

I'd rest a little easier if Biden was the presidential candidate. He's still a left wing commie but he at least supports defending the Republic.

Sigh. Oh John, quit living in the past. It's 2008, there aren't any commies anymore.

Except me, I'm the last one. When I go, that's IT.

what decade are you living in?
you speak as though; there was still some impending soviet takeover, the afl-cio had been infiltrated by "foreign agents", and the "american way of life" was threatened by unamerican activities.

The latest polls are showing that Biden is actually hurting Obama, not helping him. The Clinton's must be loving this.

Yes, Obama's standing among people who read the National Review has declined SHARPLY. We are DEEPLY CONCERNED about this. Apparently the people who were NEVER GOING TO VOTE FOR HIM are still really NEVER EVER going to vote for him. I'm sure it KEEPS HIM UP NIGHTS. And FreeRepublic! And RedState.com! These people are even LESS inclined now than EVER!

It's terrifying when you think of it.

Just making the point that it's looking worse for Obama, almost by the day. If he doesn't get a major boost from the Democratic National Convention, this election could be McCain's to lose. So, I if you're an Obama supporter you should be afraid, be very afraid.

I think the turning point may have been the debate a few weekends ago.

I'd rather have Biden as a "left wing commie" as you term him (which is absurd) than a right wing extremist... any day of the week.

P.S. We've already had VP threads on Biden, John.....

Compared to the last 8 years... I don't think "afraid" would apply except to describe how the country should feel if McCain is elected.
