I shaved mine off 4 years ago from a full head of hair and have never gone back. I love it and plan to keep it that way. Ever tried it?

My partner shaved my head this morning. I must admit it suits the shape of my head. When I first did it in 1991 I became very popular with some gay men. Especially when I combined it with a goatee and moustache. Very strange how tweaking your looks can get the attention of some people who never noticed your existence before.

Well, I shaved my head in 1984, grew my beard in 1982, had a moustache when I was 13 (that would have been 1977). So I guess I am used to it by now.

I am like all kinds of hair(less) styles as long as it is not too long. I do like stubble a little more than completely smooth though.

I've considered it, but I don't think it would suit me well. Real short is the most I can do.

As far as I'm concerned, you are just great exactly as you are! No changes needed at all whatsoever!

When I was a very young dandy fop, I used to fancy men with long, girly locks. But now a shaved head.... woof.

I've done it once...THANK GOD I have a nicely shapped head to do it. That was probably about 10 years ago that I did it...it may be high time to do it again.

I agree, shaved heads can look überhot. IMO, the best thing a balding guy can do is shave it all off. A few months ago, I got a very short haircut, and it really wasn't an ideal look for me, so I doubt I'd look good shaved.

Been a few years, now, at least. It's the only decent solution to thinning and balding. Thinning hair is like cotton candy and in the right light, you can see right through it. The combover (or the "do lap" as in hair-do lap) is ridiculous, and a bit like spray on hair. Plugs are obvious and only the truly vain could tolerate the process. I know a guy in France who, each month, receives 1 of 2 alternating hair pieces (more like full wigs). One short and one longer. They are obvious. I feel bad for him because he believes otherwise. One time, when he was completely out of his mind, falling down drunk, the only way we could break through the booze haze and get him to go home was to tell him that his hair was falling off. Vanity trumps drunkenness.

Anyway, even better than a completely shaved head on a guy with thick hair or thin hair is - a guy with a thick head of hair but cut down to a 5 o'clock shadow, rather than down to the skin.

I'd crop it down to a 5 o'clock shadow. I prefer hair, just very short. Except on women.
