Um. Just an FYI for you. Most, if not all universities in the US do NOT offer interior design as a major. Universities do not offer bachelor's degrees in interior design.. period. Typically, u must enroll at an interior design school, or art school, or something along those lines. You're not gonna find that major at any major US universities. I know this to be factual.

Also, u may wish to inquire with Dubai's ministry of education about their scholarship. I know that the government pays for you to enroll at accredited US universities, however they may not cover the cost of an interior design school, as u are not actually enrolled in a degree-seeking program.

Did you just go from internal medicine to interior design? Does that indicate anything to you?

Yes, they are majors. Bachelors of Fine Arts. Art schools are likely the way to go and you'll have a chance to experiment with different MAJORS before choosing one-- though they're typically private schools and tend to be very expensive. I went to The School Of The Art Institute Of Chicago ( SAIC, not to be mistaken for the "art institutes" they have all over the place which are more like community colleges ) So maybe consider there, I loved it. And Chicago is pretty rad.

Correction: YES you may earn a Bachelor of Science - Interior Design degree from an accredited and reputable university. Here is one local example:

    Good luck with your studies.

Only you can decide on what you love to do. No one else can answer that question for you. Choosing a profession based on how much money you will make and other factors as such wont get you far in your career as you wont be happy. And if you aren't happy you wont be committed and hence sooner or later you will do a career change.

Some professions require additional skills that aren't going to be taught as part of the course. Few are born with those skills and hence have a natural talent for it. Some can learn and some (like me) hate doing all that. For example film maker (as in your previous thread) or interior design.. etc require strong communication, networking skills as well as the ability to promote/sell your skills. In addition they are not 9-5 jobs with weekends free. You will need to put in a lot of extra time on your own and work odd hours and weekends.

If you prefer a corporate job with a stable work hours/schedule and a good possibility of finding work after you graduate then something like your aerospace degree is more on those lines.

But before you start to consider options first answer this seemingly easy but very difficult question: What do you want to do? If all jobs in the world were available to you, which one would choose?
