Where are the Romney/Ryan bumper stickers?

I haven't seen any yet, I don't even know what their design is. And I drive all around the Fort Lauderdale area, not just the Wilton Manors "gay ghetto" as its right-wing detractors here like to denigrate it.

No, yesterday I was on Las Olas Blvd, an upscale shopping venue, and no Romney bumper stickers to be seen. But plenty of Obama stickers. And again this morning in Pompano and Pompano Beach, no Romney, just Obama.

So I wonder what you other US guys are seeing, and where. Naturally we can discount any comments by the fanatical conservaposse, who likely see Romney/Ryan stickers in their sleep, and will try to convince us the world is wallpapered with them.

But for the more moderate and trustworthy guys here, please report what you really are seeing. And does this signify something this close to the election? In 2008 at this point I saw lots of McCain/Palin, but nothing Republican so far this year.

In many areas around my city it is well known that cars with Republican stickers, especially if they are nice cars, will get keyed and windows broken. There were many stickers in 2008 and fewer in 2010 as a result with folks getting warned.

Did the Santorum campaign even print up bumper stickers?

I have seen very few bumper stickers for this year's Presidential election here in New Orleans.

The few that I have noticed have been either for Ron Paul or for President Obama.

jprichva saidBroward County is very heavily Democratic, so I don't think this indicates much.

The same county was awash in McCain/Palin bumper stickers in 2008, and for Teabagger candidates in 2010, many of whom got elected. Yet nothing Republican displayed in 2012? That is my benchmark, not how many voters are registered by party.

Which suggests that at least here Republican & Teabagger spirits are down. Where are the geriatric Teabagger sidewalk groups going out onto the streets to block traffic and shout their chants and wave their flags? Don't see them, either.

Which further begs my original question: does this signify something this close to the election? And what are other RJers seeing? Especially when compared to 2008 and 2010?

Plus I repeat: "Naturally we can discount any comments by the fanatical conservaposse, who likely see Romney/Ryan stickers in their sleep, and will try to convince us the world is wallpapered with them. But for the more moderate and trustworthy guys here, please report what you really are seeing." Is this a harbinger for the election?

Where are the Romney/Ryan bumper stickers?

They're using them to try to tape his mouth shut before he gets yet another foot into it.

I'd be nervous with any bumper stickers, because most people on the left tend to be childish and would vandalize my large, beautiful SUV.

I don't like putting bumper stickers on my car. It's tacky.

    LOL @ that pic.

I've seen zero R/R bumper stickers in NY or in AZ.

I haven't been up in the far-right Phoenix area lately.
There could be some up there.

Repubs were very proud to slap a Bush/Cheney sticker on their vehicles a decade or so ago.
R/R isn't a ticket that the Repubs are proud of.
    Understandably.

Not that they should've been proud of Bush/Cheney.

I assume most people will put up bumper stickers only AFTER the election. After the election in 2008 Orlando all of a sudden was awash in Obama/Biden stickers.

I saw one on the vehicle of some jerk that had a "Impeach Obama" sticker on his bumper.

Of course I was curious and drove up beside him and glared. It was a 60's couple that didn't look like they were particularly connected.. at least in the way he was driving (or anything else apparently)....

Interesting to read about bumper stickers still being used in elections. Seems so 1950s.

I do not recall ever seeing bumper stickers in Canadian campaigns. Ever. icon_eek.gif

a thought -perhaps cdns expect to keep our vehicle for years and our elections are every four or five years., while in the U.S. their moving billboard remains relevant more so than in Canada? Our Party stays the same but the nominee changes; so we fly Party colours more than rally behind the person.
