Yet another washed-out, never-was-very-good actor I couldn't care less about.

    Well put.

I find it crazy that people still speak out saying one thing, then try to backtrack to say what they 'really meant'. Seems foolish to me!

To be fair, a lot of people feel the need to explain what they "really meant" because the particular remark being used against them was taken out of context by whomever decided to comment on it.

If he can't think of anything worse, then he must not be very imaginative or smart. There are lots of things worse - being Britney Spear's kids, being a Kardashian's kid, being Honey Boo Boo.....

Good for him that he had the balls to speak his opinion. I don't personally agree with him, but he's entitled to his opinion just as much as I am.

Who is he and why should I care about his fucked up opinion again?

Also there are a lot worse parents out there then two gay dads.....

You could have these two as parents.....

I would rather be raised by two loving gay dad's any day then most heterosexual parents.icon_neutral.gif

i think it all depends on your immediate circumstances, i was raised by a single parent (dad) and thought it was the greatest ever. but i was never made to feel that my unconventional childhood was "less than" or "strange" in anyway.

and to be fair to rupert, I think there are probably the same percentage of gay couple dads who are horrible parents as there are in every other combination of genders.

admit it, there aren't that many gay guys you'd want to date, let alone be raised by...tru?

I was raised with one mom because my straight dad left us a LONG time ago.

    But that's ok.

Those would have been my exact sentiments had I even remembered who he was without looking him up.

I never understand these statements. They come up every time a well known person says something controversial as if people expressing different views are somehow infringing on his rights. Yeah he's entitled to his opinion, but just like everyone else, he has to live with the fall out that occurs from other people with different views who are just as entitled to their opinions.

I'm a firm believer in it doesn't matter who raises you as long as they provide the resources needed for the child to be successful.

I used to work at the courthouse and let me tell you that having LOVING PARENTS regardless of gay or straight is better than no parents.

I don't agree with Rupert, but he is entitled to his opinion.

His comment doesn't make sense. Having 2 gay dads is worse than a parent beating or raping you?

I'd like to see someone's argument that being brought up by a single gay parent or two gay parents is worse than no parents at all.

Yes, it is great to see an asshole out himself as an asshole.
