Important Five Items for Any Gay Male

Here are my five mandatory items for any gay male

    1) Schedule an annual physical examination with your physician and dentist

    2) Take a HIV test twice a year (i.e. one on your birthday and other test will be six months later) .. it will save your life .. Trust Me!

    3) If you are over 40 years old, please schedule a colonoscopy in regular rotation basis to check for colon cancer. I have already heard bad news about one friend who passed away in last year due to colon cancer. He was healthy as horse, in shape, workout every day, and in better physical and medical shape than me but he did not schedule a colonoscopy test because it was for older gay males past 55 years old.

    4) If you see a little blemish or a small boil on your neck or head, go to the doctor as soon as possible. It is better to be safe than sorry later. It was a dear friend who let a small boil in his neck grow into a tumor.

    5) Always take a good walk, drink water and juice in the morning, have an active mind, and laugh .. it will keep you as being young in my mind and spirit .. you can have a shot of liquor, some brews, or a few glasses of wine .. just like President Harry S. Truman did as he lived a long, healthy, and active life until 88 years old .. Moderation is very good for you

I have an HIV test once a month, even when I'm not active. It can take a while for the antibodies to show up. Once a month is minimum if you're active, in my opinion.

Full STD panel twice a year, yeah.

    1. A guy for Monday.
    2. A guy for Tuesday.
    3. A guy for Wednesday.
    4. A guy for Thursday.
    5. A guy for Friday.

Saturday and Sunday are reserved for random hookups from a4a, CL, manhunt, or the bars.

Every month is totally obsessive unless (1) you are doing bareback porn or (2) you are involved in serious kinky stuff involving fetching, blood and faeces.

I don't understand this train of thought. Testing only tells you if you have the virus, or not. It doesn't protect you from contracting it. smh

Play safe, play smart, protect yourself.

This. Even though the tests are free they cost money and getting tested once a month while doing low risk activities is a waste. Once every 6 months is good for HIV tests.

It'll let you know to prevent you from passing it on to there's, let you notify previous partners, and get you treatment ASAP. The sooner you know, the better.

Yeah, I agree with Paul's implication: the only mandatory item for a gay male is a gay male. All the rest is complimentary accessorizing.
