Why ANY senior citizen who is not a member of the "2 percent" would support Romney/Ryan is beyond my comprehension.

ok i'd probably watch the 3 of u gang bang him, just make sure he's got a hood or bag on his head, and a ball gag (can't stand the whiny fukers little nerd voice).

but there are plenty of ugly-hot guys that aren't depreciated by a GOP rotted brain out there, so I'll still take a pass on ryan. i'd rather grudge fuk a red state inbred redneck

It has been well known by many that the AARP long ago gave up looking after the interests of Seniors because of its own ideology and deals to put itself in an advantageous positions over competitors via Obamacare. No doubt the reception to Ryan was prearranged by the leaders of AARP.

Strassel: The Love Song of AARP and Obama - Newly released emails reveal the 'nonpartisan' group's stealthy White House alliance on health care.

So he deliberately went along to address a group 'well known' to be unrepresentative of seniors and hostile to himself. Well, it certainly fits the blundering pattern of the Romney/Ryan campaign to date.

No Brit. It shows willingness to confront and a courage of his convictions to explain. Had he avoided their invitation, the same slime balls would have called him a coward.

He could always have turned down their invitation, stating it is 'well known by many' the AARP no longer looks after the interests of seniors.

It also shows the arrogance that R &R have for anyone who is not in the "2 percent" group.

AARP is about as mainstream and middle American as it gets. When Romney/Ryan has alienated them to this extreme degree, that spells bad news for team Romney.
Sorry, Mitt, this is clearly not going to end well for you!

on the poll question "which candidate can relate to my problems?"

people respond 3-1 in obama's favour. voters aren't stupid.

The fact that AARP members are booing Ryan and walking out on his speech also points to a much harder time for Romney to carry Florida. He's also behind in the polls there. Without that state, it's almost impossible for him to win.
