http://www.irs.gov/uac/Overview---Money-Laundering When no other crimes could be pinned to Al Capone, the Internal Revenue Service obtained a conviction for tax evasion. As the astonished Capone left the courthouse he said, "This is preposterous. You can't tax illegal income!"
If these misguided "men of the cloth" want to violate the separation between church & state; then the income/contrubitions to their church should be taxed at (at least) the rate paid by Willard Romney.
All church owned properties should loose any federal, state and local exemptions and have property taxes levied at the same rate as the individuals around the chruch's property.
I've never been to a church that identified as conservative or liberal. Do "liberal" churches talk about current events to inform their parishoners? What about the Rev. Jerimiah Wright? A man whose church was attended by President Obama for some 20 years? Or Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson? Tax the hell out of them, too!!

Catholics' reaction to Newark Archbishop's statement on gay marriage reflects generational divide
