Yes, my guess, in a desperate move, Romney will ask Obama to marry him. Seriously, who cares anymore? Neither of these guys is really very inspiring. With Obama we know he is not so great and with Romney we sense he is not so real. Great choices we have.

    smartmoney,

When you have time, write a forum titled "WHAT IT WOULD TAKE FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA TO INSPIRE ME."

I'm not mocking or ridiculing your disaffection. I am though curious as to what you'd like to see.

For the purpose of your creativity, you get to imagine a sane and cooperative Congress to help with your favored agenda.

    Have at it.

Romney's zingers are well-rehearsed. What could possibly go wrong?
It's a sign of the GOP campaign's desperation that its hope of besting Obama in debate now rests on Romney's comic timing

    Mitt Romney's zingers

With reports indicating that Mitt Romney has been rehearsing and memorizing zingers for the past couple of months in preparation for Wednesday's debate, let's take a look at some of his past zingers to get a feel for what he might come up with on Wednesday night:

    LOL
WTF is the matter with the Romney campaign?
Don't they have any sense at all?

Why have they repeatedly telegraphed that Romney has memorized and rehearsed "zingers" for the debates?
    How incredibly stupid.

Now all the pundits will be chattering about Romney's scripted "zingers" before and after the debate.
And when Romney delivers these "zingers" everyone is going to know that they're lines someone wrote for him and that Romney memorized.
It all reeks of prepackaged phony bullshit.
It reinforces the worst most repulsive personality flaws of candidate Romney.
    That he's a phony slickster.

The Romney campaign "strategists" are hopelessly incompetent and just plain dumb.

But lets face it, if Obama was so smart he would not have failed so miserably, and have to blame others for his incompetence; but he is pretty.

How has he failed miserably? No terror attacks on our soil, pulled the economy our of the worst gutter since the 30's, killed OBL, saved car companies, the nations banking system and did this with tea baggers in congress blocking all important economic legislation when possible.
I don't think he has been great, but I also don't buy the line that he has failed miserably. Imagine a congress that passes legislation that is good for the country. Imagine a congress that thinks about doing what is best for the long term interests of the country and not just trying to bring down the president.

Obama, for the most part has been fiscally a moderate conservative as President. It was a smart move because in order for the right to prove that they are the conservatives, they have had to move even farther to the right....making them have to lie about sound policies and support insane ideas.

Insane ideas like, saving medicare from insolvency by trimming it down to a realistically sustainable model!

Obama extended the life of Medicare by 8 years without a single change in benefits or added costs to current and future recipients. That's more than what Ryan's plan would do.

Ryan's plan makes it sustainable for the long-term. It currently is not. Those opposing Ryan's plan haven't come up with an alternative and are therefore advocates for its demise.

I will not support vouchers. I think that is a very cruel idea.

Cutting waste in the system should be a continuous effort. This should be done without people screaming death panels.

Not only that, but people can expect to pay $6400 more per year under the Ryan plan. Can you repeat, "OUT OF TOUCH?"

But here is an ultimate solution:

    UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE.

    Take the middle players OUT!

I've got a more cruel idea in mind, letting the whole thing go bankrupt and leaving everyone on the street dying. Oh wait, that's your idea!

But of course, I'm the one with no heart who wants poor people to suffer!

I never said that I would support bankruptcy either. I would support cost cutting first and then if necessary some form of fair tax increases. I would not support vouchers or bankruptcy. Basic health care should be a vital priority of any society, especially an industrialized nation.

Oh please lets not forget Obama's lies and the fact that words just don't matter to Obama.
