Fighting Back After My Bullied Son Was Expelled From School ( Indianapolis’s Arsenal Technical High )

A mother takes matters into her own hands after the school district that was supposed to protect her gay son not only failed them, but turned against them.

On the one hand, I think that she should have just taken Dynasty out of that hostile environment to begin with. If my kids were getting physical threats at their school, they would not be going there any longer.

Yet, schools should be places where students are not threatened. The school most definitely failed in creating a safe environment for its students and failed in carrying out justice. What would they have done if Dynasty did not have that device to scare away his would-be attackers? It seems like they wouldn't have done much.

I'm glad that she's suing and I'm even happier that he isn't at that school any longer.

I want to give Dynasty's mother a hug. She's an amazing woman.

Its sad to see the School admins react the way they did. They should be punished and I hope she wins the lawsuit. Also the kids responsible should be found out and punished as well. Its not ok to bully and its not ok to let kids believe that it is.

    + 1,000,000,000

To me, this would be the same thing as the school district saying...

"I'm sorry your daughter got raped, but she was asking for it wearing that mini-skirt to school.... oh, it was required for cheerleading? Not our problem."

Good for him an his mom. I hope they win their law suit against that awful school for doing nothing to protect him.
