I have just purchased the TRX training system to use in conjuction with my current clients and the dividends are outstanding. Are there any other guys out there using it and how have you found it?

OK, (now that I'm in the correct thread) I seem to be missing something. As far as I can see, this thing is just five bucks worth of rigging from the hardware store... sold for $150 plus shipping. Is there something else to it?

I've been using it myself and with clients that I train. It's like no other workout because you have to use every muscle in your body with each exercise.
Yes, it seems ridiculous to pay $150 for the thing, and if you can figure a way to do it more cheaply, go right ahead. I'm not as enterprising and happily paid money for a product that I find to be pretty damn amazing. If you're interested, I'd definitely seek out a professional who can show you how to use it properly and then decide if it's worth it for you.

I'm also interested in the TRX system, but can't find it in China....yet (haha). I'm hoping to have one sent from Canada. From what I've read it sounds like a great core-body workout. I like the fact that is totally portable and doesn't require a whack of space. Of course we can probably eliminate most fitness equipment from our lives (why use a stairmaster when you can run up stairs outside, go to spin class when biking uphill will do a better job, blah blah blah) but sometimes adding something different to a workout makes things more interesting - and for me that's always a good thing. Keep it up guys...hope to hear encouraging reports!
