You know it's just palpitations from the hot dude who gave you the eye but you didn't go for it.

    It might be a tumor!

Exercise-induced asthma happens during or immediately after exercise, not hours after.

You may be pushing yourself too hard. Try reducing the intensity of your workout for a few days and see if that helps.

    Sounds strange.

Go and get yourself checked out, you might have a chest infection that you need antibiotics to clear.

As edmirer says above. You should feel short of breath for a few minutes post exercise, not for hours.

    Good luck.

    Probably lung cancer.

Something as simple as this may work, otherwise definitely see your doctor!

Maybe you're just not using the full 100% of your lung capacity. My doctor called it 'lazy breathing' Teach yourself to use your full lung capacity instead of breathing shallow.

It's coz my lung capacity is much higher than average (great underwater swimmer) and you tend not to use the whole volume which then results in greater amounts of CO2 lingering in your lungs causing you to maybe breath like this.

Go outside and get fresh clean air and breathe in deeply and slowly and expell fully a few times but do it slowly and refresh your lung capacity!

You should not have waited hours to see your doctor. Go now!

This x10....and forget the Dr even, you should've gone to emergency. Tightness in your chest, especially lasting hours is not something you want to play around with.

Yeah it was a bit scary. Woke up and went to work feeling really hot inside and with trouble breathing, felt better later in the day.

    I am NOT a doctor.

But this doesn't sound good. I don't think you're going to fall dead, but this could be a sign of a larger problem. I'd recommend a trip to the DRs, and take it easy for the next few weeks (workout but go lighter, eat a little more healthily, hydrate).

Sorry I don't have any answer, but taking it easy is about the best advice I can provide. Hope you forget about this episode soon and are 100% again!

Went to the Dr., heart and lungs are good. I've got an inhaler just in case. Back to exercising!
