Romney behind double-digits in Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Wisconsin...it's desperation time from the fringe, anti-gay, anti-woman, anti-poor, tax-cuts-for-the-rich right.

She seems like a stable and smart spokesman for almost anything, free phones just being the top of the list.

Oh come now, freedomisntfree. I wouldn't expect you to resort to such childish charges ("a true democrat").

I usually don't agree with freedomisntfree on several issues, but he is rightfully entitled to his opinion.

I'm not against him expressing his opinion. It's just that the pettiness of the title and post content usually comes from the other members of the conservaposse.

Those phones have been around for a long time and it was obviously what confused the woman. It confuses people into incorrectly thinking it is a government program instead of a charitable program of the telecom companies because you are required to show need such as being on food stamps, welfare, or unemployment. If they didn't do that, there would be nothing to stop us all from getting a free phone.

I'm not saying that it doesn't. I'm dumbfounded about your engagement in it. That's all.

Meanwhile, Romney and Ryan are still on the hook for giving out free sandwiches for votes, which is illegal.

If this "free phones" bit was part of a set-up for Republicans, it's utterly brilliant.

Apparently, there is no such thing about free phones under Obama. And of course, conservative bloggers are going to run with this "one example" to underscore Mitt Romney's comments about the 47 percent, but what it really does is bring to light Romney & Ryan's free sandwiches for votes (illegal) folly back in April --- APRIL!!! --- and squashes Republicans on two points: 1) Voters are reminded that Romney AND Ryan broke the law in campaigning and 2) Even Republican supporters getting their free sandwiches are identifiably part of the 47%.

“….who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing,to you name it…that’s an entitlement…” MITT ROMNEY
