Masculine Vs. Feminine

Most guys here keep saying they want a masculine guy, but what do you consider masculine? It almost feels like they want to compensate for their own sexuality by saying feminine dudes are lesser than themselves in someway. I don't consider myself masculine when i compare myself with my friends who are all strt, but i don't act gay most people would never even suspect that i hook up with guys until i tell them. Is strt acting how you guys define masculine?. I care about how i look, i try to take care of my skin and hair (when im not lazy), i don't watch sports unless i'm forced to, and i love the theater....does this make me feminine? Isn't there something in-between? What do you guys consider masculine, and feminine?

    It's all relative.

Everyone has a mix of masc/fem characteristics.

I know I couldn't take a man seriously who dresses up as a woman or accessories himself as one just as much as I can't take someone who likes Quencha the Quasher. I'm not interested in roles extreme roles of either or. I'm interested in meeting a person and seeing where it goes from there.

I know I find a bit of both to be attractive to me-- someone who may have toned muscles or definition but doesn't possess the annoying cock-jockey/Adonis complex. I don't stroke egos.

I have dated, in the past, someone who was far more interested in shopping bags, nice clothing, and shit like that. I didn't consider him to be purely effeminate but he quite a bit more camp than I was when it came to his mannerisms and expressions.

At heart, I can be icy cold, which is thought to be masculine-- someone who is detached and withdrawn from emotions or fuzzy warm-- someone who is more considerate, empathetic, and emotional. It's situational and circumstantial.

To put it short: Neither one is extremely important. A balance between the two is important for me.

My definition of masculine and feminine has nothing to do with the activities you do, whether you watch sports or anything like that. I call masc/fem the way you talk, walk, your mannerisms and body language. When I look at that stuff I can easily tell if a guy is more masculine or feminine. I'm much more attracted to other masculine guys myself.

Even with the in-between guys they seem to be closer to one end of the stick than the other. I have a cousin who recently came out to his brothers and daddy and I can guarantee he would consider himself masculine but he isn't to me. I met him for the first time when I was about 14 and he was 12 and he was as gay as gay could be to me lol. He probably thinks because he listens to some rap and drinks beer that he's masculine but the boy has lots of sugar in his tank and might not know it lol.

There is nothing wrong with fem guys and they aren't broken and need fixing. They just maketh not a hard cock for me lol. There pictures can if it's not too telling but when they start speaking and acting girlier than girls do it just doesn't turn me on.

One word.....MANNERISMS. You can wear all the leather costumes and work boots you want....walk around with a cigar shoved in your mouth, but at the end of the day, mannerisms is what either attracts or repels me. A deep sexy voice don't hurt none either!

What have muscles to do with mannerisms, then? The guy on that picture could be the most flamboyant queer in the country, what do you know.

toukan saidI like feminine gay guys, they're often very witty and almost always have some kind of artistic talent.

But there are many who have been twisted and turned into mental cases by the gay rights movement.

So..*laughing* ...do you think gays should have equal rights?

As a matter of fact, no I don't...but unfortunately, they do.

That's a separate issue from what I was talking about though.

So then, what, you think gay people should have superior rights?icon_rolleyes.gif
