I didn't watch the video, but I often ponder how different the U.S. would be if Gore had been elected.

We wouldn't have a national debt.

We wouldn't have gone to war with Iraq.

We would have global warming policies in place.

We wouldn't have fallen behind in science over stem cell research.

.... the list goes on and on.

    Bush ruined this country!!! icon_mad.gif

    No more republicans, PLEASE!!!!!!!

jockfever: In January 2007 Bush was president and the Democrats took over the Senate and the House.

    GDP growth was much higher.
The national debt was much lower.
The unemployment rate was much lower.
    More Americans had jobs.
The dollar was worth a lot more.
The U.S. credit rating was higher.
There were fewer foreclosures and the average price of a house was higher.
There was much less uncertainty in the economy.
    The deficit was much lower.
Respect for America around the world, especially among Muslims, was higher.
George Bush's economic policies had triggered 52 straight months of job creation.
Bush made several respectable appointments to the Supreme Court (as opposed to, say, a left-wing hack with no judicial experience).
Our embassies and consulates were not being violated; and no ambassador was killed.
Our relations with allies were stronger; our enemies were more cautious.
Al Qaeda was on the run.
The price of just about everything was lower.
The price of a gallon of gas was about half of what it is today.
    Median incomes were higher.
    The poverty rate was lower.
The number of people on food stamps was much lower.
    etc. etc.

In January 2007 Democrat Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Democrat Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?

"Blame Bush" is as old as it is dumb.

But thanks for your honesty about not viewing the video. It could annoy and confuse anyone who cheers as Obama tries to turn the United States into a third-world nation.

    Mr Fever?

You are actually really and truly trying to compare the Worst President in modern history .... Goerge W Bush and likely since the United States has been
    ... to Barack Obama?

Dude ... like make some sense ... Please ?

Your stooge of a President took and US surplus ... Yes a Surplus and turned it into a Debt that went along with a Global Financial Crisis that required trillions of dollars to be pumped into the banking and financial sectors or there would have been a Worldwide Financial meltdown ... do you understand that?
Can you get it into your republican numbed brain that Tax cuts with a Pharm giveaway that we had to pay for Two wars that were put on the tab as well ...One of them being a War Crime ...
    YES A WAR CRIME
... and the cherry on top being so inept that you don't listen to your own intelligence and 3 thousand people are killed in the worst domestic attack since Pearl Harbor

You liked him so much ... where the hell is he?
    Where is the George... eh?

    Gimme a freakin break icon_rolleyes.gif
