I've stumbled upon a VERY interesting video

This is a video from the youtube user ''sixpackshortcuts''.
It seems this guy's videos on youtube are watched A TON of times by MANY MANY people...

I've got a few questions here... I'd be very grateful if you could answer them. I'd like to know if he's saying the truth, since I'm really a newbie at fitness and healthy eating habits... What that guy, Mike Chang said in this video got me surprised. And since I'm a newbie at this, I'm afraid that my naïvete could lead me right into the trap of a fraud.

So... Are there some guys among you who have watched these videos on youtube or maybe even tried his programs ? Is the guy a fraud or is he saying the truth? Because I fear that I might have been doing the wrong exercises for nothing ! So I'd like to know: Is this Afterburn Effect thing for real ? II want a healthy life, with a healthy and good looking body, like everyone else, so if he's right, I want to know.

Of course I don't have the money to buy his stuff... yet. But If I buy it sometime and it's all bullcrap... Well that would really suck, since I don't have much income.

This is the video I was talking about. It's pretty long so, you've been warned! It's at the top of the page once you clicked on this link.

Well, as someone who has some abs for the first time in his life, I would say, you don't have to do anything very special.

    1. Have a good resistance workout problem. Do some ab exercises, even some weighted ones if (like me) your abs are small, but worry more about squats, bench press, deadlifts, pullups/pulldowns, and other complex movements that involve the core.

    2. Get your diet in shape and reduce your body fat. I have a lot less body fat than I used to but what there is is centered right over my abs, which keeps them from being really defined. Others can have good abs showing at 12% body fat, so this is individual.

I haven't looked at the video, but I don't think that long ab-centered workouts are necessary, and I don't think that you need to buy this particular guys products.

Well exactly... In the video he says that long ab workouts are NOT the key. icon_confused.gif

Well, I don't have abs nor will I ever have them. But in either case, I find his before and after pics rather hilarious.

^ and this guy describes the photos pretty well. I mean it's obvious he's pushing out his gut, I'd even argue that the photos are pretty photoshopped as well (mostly the before picture actually, I'd say). There's also awful lighting in the before, whereas the after pics highlight his muscles pretty well (while also being oiled in, which helps a whole deal).

I think this has been covered a lot in other posts, but sixpacks are a lot about low body fat percentages.

*Sigh* I can't believe I almost fell for that. UGH.. If it seems too good to be true... then it's not true...

This SUCKS... Anyone would want to look like that guy... I mean his videos on youtube can't be photoshopped... right ? X_X
