What is up with these guys who unlock their private pics for you, then relock them five minutes later?

Do you think someone is going to steal them? If someone wanted to, they probably would have while you had them open.

Why would unlock and the relock your pictures immediately?

Why not leave them unlocked once you've decided to do so for a particular member?

I'm also puzzled by this practice. It is not as if the picture can be erased from your memory, so what is it all about?

They are teasing you, Mr. Anderson.
LOL, how much of an eye full do you need?
Oh, I see, by the time you've gathered your lube and dish rag, the pics are re-locked. icon_razz.gif
You can fix those Indian Givers, write em back and give em an ear full. Or just capitalize that first time you open the pics. Better do it, there might not be a next time.

    LOL, I couldn't resist.

key word, CONTROL. people are not always comfortable with their pics just floating around on the net especially when it comes to a gay site. u might be out but others may not be so its a form of protection. some just might like the fact that they can decide who what when where and why can see them. some may not feel that the unlock was appreciated, maybe they expected more from the unlock and didnt get what they were looking for. there are a myriad of reasons that people do this. but at the end of the day, its a way for the person with the pics to have some control in the wide open space we call the internet. same way on facebook or myspace, u can decide who u want to see ur profiles, same way u can dictate what messages get posted or not, its control.

In French, when the male article is followed by a word beginning with a vowel, we elide the two with an apostrophe:

    L'art du flashing

    N'est-ce pas?

I don't see what the problem is.
They are "THEIR" pix so they can do as they please with them. It's really that simple. Why do people feel the need to worry about something that isn't really that big of a deal?

So whoever you are dealing with decides to show you their private pix and then 5 minutes later they choose to close them. So what? You saw whatever you wanted to see and they showed you whatever they wanted to be shown. Why do they need to leave them open for you after they've shown you what was there to be seen?

Do you leave your private pix open after you've shown someone? I'm not trying to start an arguement or anything of that nature but I can't see what the problem is. They're their private pix and they'll do with them as they please in whatever manner they choose to. You really don't have a say in the matter and there's really nothing you can do about it. Such is life.

I say just enjoy whatever it is you saw and press on. Should they want to leave them unlocked for you to view again I'm sure they'll so. Heck they might even take it a step further and actually email you their private pix.

I agree with everyone except Guy101. When I log on, I get 4 or 5 emails from guys who have unlocked and by the time I get the email, 2 or 3 of them have locked back up again.

I think sometimes this is what happens. I shut off my browser and dont LOG OUT of rj. It shows me as still online. Some guy unlocks...when I don't unlock immediately, he gets pissed and relocks his..even though I'm not even online.

The only time I ever relock photos is when someone has relocked on me...or never unlocked in the first place (much like bigsetexjock)

I agree with Guy101 - in that the notion of starting this thread is sillier than the problem being addressed in it. lol. icon_rolleyes.gif I guess I never look at pvt pics that often after the first time - so if I see them locked again - I just request an unlock and get it. If it's just some random person you aren't even talking with but sharing pics with - then why care if they only allow you to see them for 5 mins. Just hit em up next week and ask to see them again.

La de friggin whoop te doo.

Thanks for the Anderson part ;) but if I'm gonna do that online, I prefer the Raging Stallion or Treasure Island websites pay-per-view. Much more effective for a long, intense session with the lube and Rosy Palm...LOL

    LOL. Ya'll are funny.

None of you have even thought (or just aren't willing to accept) the fact that maybe when the person decided to unlock their private pix that they didn't truely think it all the way through and then decides to relock them at the last minute before you got a chance to view them. That could be taken several ways. Maybe they went back and read your profile or rethought some your pix and just figured "Nah. I don't wanna show this guy my private pix."

Stuff like that happens. Maybe they relock their private pix back because in all honesty they don't really know who they are dealing with. My buddy did something similar like this to someone online and showed his private pix to someone. They were in good taste mind you (I saw them) and left just enough imagination to tease the hell out of anyone who was lucky enough to see them. So he shows this guy his private pix and left them open. Next thing you know my friend is getting these weird emails from people saying they say his pix and they wanna see more. Apparently the person he showed them to showed a few of his friends who also were on the same site. I think that would be a legit reason to want to relcok them.

I think alot of you guys are under the assumption that once private pix are shown that they need to stay shown. Where do you guys get off complaining about private pix. You make it seem that once shown they are some kind of private property and the fact that people relock them is a bad thing. You make it sound insulting that they relocked their pix, especially if yours are still open. Seriously. They are pix and you can't fault someone for wanting to relock them if they choose to do so no matter what their reason is.

Some of ya'll are just too horny and too expecting for your own good.
Sure some guys like to tease people with private pix and build up the suspense of there being something worth seeing. That's natural. I wonder how many of you pursue the individuals who shows you their pix and then immediately lock them again. I'm gonna say a very small majority of you do it since it seems like some of you here feel that if a guy relocks his pix then he isn't worth time to talk too or even worse, if he chooses not showyou inthe first in the first place after you've shown them yours. Do any of you try talking to the person who relocked their pix to figure out why or do you just press on?

That too brings up another reason why they might relcok them. Once seen alot of guys, shall we say, lose interest in wanting to continue a conversation and move on to the next hot guy who is willing to show their pix. This is a trip.

Again I say enjoy whatever you get the chance to see and just be happy with it. If you don't get to see it when it's viewable then oh well. better lick next I guess. There are plenty of others out their who will probably show you something.

Here's a good formula for those of you who are so attached to to wanting to view priavte pix.

No Expectations + The reality of there being other opportunities = No Disappointments.

I wish someone would cope a 'tude with me when I relcoked "MY" pix. LOL.

Your timing couldn't be better Sed!
In my buddy list,,, just 10 mins. after posting here, I was talking with a French man who sent me an unlock and is a really nice guy.... Not 10 mins. later he locked them again,,,, LOL!!! It almost seemed like he read the post and was joking with me... Then I realized that some guys do exactly what you say... "FLASH" and then run... Actually, he's nice harmless guy and I have come to realize that like all my buddies in life, some are more modest than others.

Hahahaha! Who would rethink BigSet based on pics? I don't understand the question, I'll admit, because so many guys have unlocked to everyone, plus, many of us are willing to unlock and leave it unlocked.
I for one, always leave unlocked. I mean, once you've seen me naked, you've seen me naked.

So you wanna be in The Matrix, BigSet? That would be awful you in that movie, the characters always wore so many clothes! Although, with you in that movie, the interrogation scene woulda been much hotter. It just would have taken eight or more agents to hold you down on the table.

That was my first guess when I saw this thread.

When a guy unlocks, he expects you to reciprocate. If you don't, he re-locks.

Me, when I unlock it stays unlocked. I couldn't even tell you who all I've unlocked for, but it's pretty much everyone I've ever chatted with, viewed, or sent email to.

The only person I re-locked is the one (and only) person I've had to block.
