Oh good grief. If it isn't freakin obvious, you might as well give up on college.
A couple of years ago, I had a couple of customers (a woman and her mother) who talked me into testing their water in relation to this... until their heads started spinning around. They thought that worms were crawling out of their toilet and infecting their skin. (I thought maybe there were nematodes or something...) Also, the worms would crawl out of their lawn and attack the house. Then they started sending me samples of the "worms" they had killed.
The water was perfectly ordinary, if a bit dirty, because they took it from the toilet. The "worms" were carpet fibers and blades of grass.
I sent their money back and advised them to consult a psychiatrist.
"That's funny... that's just what the people at the emergency room keep telling us..."
