    I really can't with Chick-Fil-A anymore.
It's one of the only sources the gay agenda has for this election. It's a dead horse and we keep beating it. They burned down a KFC in Syria, how yall feel about that?

What gay agenda? Please tell us what that is, and where we can download it.

Gay Agenda? Really? And what would that be?

You mean wanting to have THE EXACT SAME RIGHTS/STATUS as every straight citizen in this country? You consider that an agenda?

Seriously...I would really like to know what YOU mean by agenda.

They burned the KFC as an attack on American businesses; it had nothing to do with Chick-fil-A, or an anti gay agenda.icon_confused.gif

Chick fil A is just a part of the larger issue of marriage equality. Yeah, I know some think some of us spend too much time on the issue, but there is a reason for that. For a same-sex couple this affects so many other aspects of life- home ownership and leasing, immigration, access to healthcare, retirement benefits, adoption, taxes, hospital visitation, social security, insurance, etc.

The employees expect to get patted on the back -- I didn't see that in the story, except for the man's opinion that that is what happens. What I do see is folks displaying homophobia and hate to employees who are LGBT (or divorced and remarried) and they do not know the employees' orientation or marital status.

    Or did I miss something?

    Ok.
I'm quoting you in reference to all the others quoting me.

I'm all for wanting the same exact rights and status as the next person, so go ahead and protest Chic-Fil-A or support it, It's your right either which way- Chick-Fil-A's benefited from it all. Their business is better than ever, it's been headlining news channels all over the country amidst BIGGER issues that fet no coverage at all. It's a mockery, the "Agenda" is to hype up Chic-Fil-A's stance on same sex marriage (as if the other 42 presidents didn't share the same view, why not protest the White House, better yet, your neighbors?) and beat it to death for months on end for the gays to have something to bicker about until the election comes along. I mean what if Chick-Fil-A went out of buisiness and thousands of people lost jobs- would that be a win for the gays?

&I mentioned the burning down of a KFC restaurant in Syria to emphasis SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT CHICK FIL A, the world see's the US as a bully right now more than ever, gay or not, if anything goes down to ignite another global issue- Our rights will all suffer together REGARDLESS, this is a new era brewing, and the GAY AGENDA I am referring to is the focal point of this election, which is fine, but the way they go about it is pitiful. The media is mocking us through a fast food chain. Go protest with the millions of other people around the world who are all fighting for their individual rights against their governments- This is not exclusive to the gay community this year, so why is the media only covering this one source of protesting.over and over again when dozens of countries (including future protests here that are set to take palce) around the world are experiencing a police state of protesting. It's fucked up and not at all promising.

Excuse me for considering myself human before considering myself gay. I care more about "The People's" rights- Things are fishy whether you agree with me or not, all we have to do is wait.

The title of the article is meant to get people upset all over again. It does not accurately reflect the actual substance of the story.

This would make sense if it were some kind of either/or proposition.
It isn't, which is why this is nonsense.

That's what I was getting at.
It's one big free for all. People everywhere are still fighting for "their rights". It's being encouraged and/or motivated through "Viral videos" to protest this and that all over the world and it's causing a lot of damage to our economy.

At least the gays are classy and don't go about rioting their cities for marriage, but yea, lets protest Chick-Fil-A and shit and make parodies on youtube about it.

It's good to know the gays are harmless. Ironic actually.
The perfect focal point of the most laughable election ever to exist. The Gay Agenda can build a nation lulz

It isn't a dead horse we're beating. It's a flag we're flying. You've missed the point of protest completely. Please restudy our agenda. We've got it all scheduled and you won't want to miss the party.

    I won't deny that, but it's a rainbow Chick-Fil-A flag!

I'm just looking and the bigger picture. The Gay Agenda itself is harmless.

If they didn't want to be flown, they could always stop climbing up our pole. But as long as they keep climbing up our pole, we're gonna show them for their true colors. We're not gonna let them hide and attack us from inside a chicken sammich.

So you answered my question as to what you think this "Gay agenda" is by quoting to me diatribes of what others have quoted to you?

You said there is a Gay agenda. That's your stance. Then defend your stance!

You seemed to be hung up on that whole Chick-fil-a fiasco. My take and outrage is this...It's a privately owned company. And If someone is stupid enough to have those thoughts, and keeps them to his or herself, then that's on them. But when you use those thoughts from a bully pulpit and cultivate your prejudices amongst the stupid/ignorant/weak-minded/religious morons of society, that's when I have a problem with it and will do everything I can to hurt that business' reputation and profitability.
(as for this burning down of a KFC on Syria, that had NOTHING to do with any Gay related issue. It was simply an American business.)

I know there are terrible things going on to people perpetrated by governments all over the world that are much more important than Gay issues here in the US. There are Gay people being killed in other countries for simply being Gay. (Sanctioned by their religious stupidity and by their governments. I get that. We all get that.)
But that's not a fight that I can fight for them. What I can do is fight against the republican/religious idiocy in this country that denies Gay tax paying citizenry the same rights as straights. This is government supported discrimination. And in a country that was supposedly founded on principles of just the opposite, that is a HUGE problem. We are denied the same rights of straights in, inheritance, taxes, medical benefits, retirement beneifits...the list goes on. So when you quote some moron who says, "Excuse me for considering myself human before considering myself gay. I care more about "The People's" rights.", that makes me really frustrated. Our "People's rights" are being denied BECAUSE we are Gay. You can't separate the two.
I hate to use blacks as an example because some think that by citing what they went through I'm brushing it aside. I'm not.) But they were denied rights that whites had. They had jobs. They paid taxes. And they were denied rights because of their skin color. And now BOTH white AND black are being denied rights because of being Gay. You can not separate the two issues when THAT'S the issue causing the sanctioned discrimination.

So if you consider those things as a Gay agenda, then you really need to experience just living a life as a Gay person in this society, and gain a more accurate picture then what your 20 yrs has shown you thus far.

    Tristan

-Brian, I just went back and looked at your profile. And you write:
"I was made to believe there's something wrong with me." & "I'd wear sweatpants and a guinea tee my wedding if I could."

This "article" is no more than a blog entry and I would not want it to be associated with the gay marriage rights movement. I get what the guy is trying to say, but it is a very weak argument, just like the "gay events promote HIV by attracting men who have sex with men and therefore should be banned" argument.

To me, the message needs to be clear and focused... "The owner of Chick-Fil-A uses money he earns to fund anti gay marriage campaigns." Let Americans decide for themselves what side they want to fall on, IF they want to fall any side at all when they eat. My thoughts.
