    I always hear it. . . "What goes around, comes around"....and "karma's a bitch"

people use karma all the time. Like karma is some magical universal force that will pay u back for good deeds and punish u with bad luck if you've been "bad" or have done wrong. .

Ima be honest. I dont really believe in karma.
I've been nice so many times and have gotten screwed over- so many times.. "no good deed..."...

yet I know ppl who have been nothing but nasty little shits their entire lives and end up coming out on top...in some way or another....not all the time, but I dont really see any solid evidence that karma is such a force to be reckoned with.

    Karma this, karma that.
Nah, it's just life. U win some u lose some. That's it.

Some ppl can get away with doing shit all the time and still have great things happen to them, regardless. Some people seem to always be down on their luck... it's just the way it is.

    Karma is BS IMO

"I've been nice so many times and have gotten screwed over"

How people treat you is their karma.... how you react is yours. If you feel frustrated at someone's actions as a reaction to your good deed then you should look at your frustration.

The goal of doing good shouldn't be some sort of karmic reward and the motivation of not causing harm shouldn't be a fear of punishment from the hand of karma if you cause pain. If that is how you view karma then it is all ego driven and just leads to more confusion. If you view karma as positive action leading to a shared positive world and conversely negative action leading to a shared negative world then you get a better understanding of what is meant by karma.

    Karma ...

I believe some call it Karma, others the Law of Cause & Effect.

You may not believe in the Law of Gravity, but jumping off of a building doesn't mean you'll fly.

There are many theories as to why some great people have horrible lives and the evils have wonderful "fulfilling" lives.. Some say, it has a lot to do with past life Karma that carries over into their present life. Also, whatever you put into the Universe, it'll mirror it.

Either way, many of those people may not see the effect(s) of Karma immediately because Karma sometimes works in mysterious ways. Just because a bird-eyes view on someone's life seems great doesn't imply everything is right internally.

"Karma" comes in many different ways and forms, and it will bite you (or the people you love) in the ass when you least expect it. No deliberate bad act remains unpunished.

Although I'm a realist, I've seen karma happen too many times to discount it.

So, yes, I believe in karma.

I agree. I don't believe karma exists. There is no force regulating so called good and bad. I do believe in the law of attraction and people attract good and bad based on their thoughts. That's why good things happen to seemingly bad people and bad things happen to seemingly good people. Everybody can think any type of thoughts.

ummm ... you're not old enough to have observed anything yet except Justin Biebers bagging pants ... sometimes the circle is bigger than you realize ... some are small circles and some are big ... the bigger the circle the bigger the payback

Everyone fucks up. It's human nature.

Everyone has bad days. It's part of life.

Correlating the two as being significant to each other is a sign of ignorance.

Regardless of what people like to think for every action there is a reaction

for every crime there is a punishment and for every good deed there is a reward, but heres the catch..

we dont often see what people struggle with behind closed doors.

Like people you think are "living it up" may be so miserable mentally already and most likely they are, because people who are naturally nasty in personality already have some form of negativity that makes them that way

The problem is that we dont live others lives and we dont know there background so we dont truly know if Karma gets them back.

Alot of struggles with the human race are mental, and like many of us, we pretend nothing is wrong when others are around.

There are many terms for this
Saving Face, Having a Guard Up, Never Let Them see you sweat.. etc.

Very insightful. I don't believe karma is a law of nature, but you're right about people reaping what the sew. The only thing I'd add is that shit happens to good people, too, and asserting that they brought it on themselves through their bad karma would be insensitive and unjust.
