Finally Chevrolet is replacing is aged Colorado , the new one was designed by Holden and will be built in GM 's Missouri plant .
Hopefully , the 2.8 T.Diesel Duramax will cross the ocean with it ..Hahaha..
It is a great engine , i know that 132 khp , is not a lot for you Americans , but it has great torque , no turbo lag , and is very quiet .
US and Australian Specs will be different as the truck is built more sturdily here to be able to stand up to our numerous corrugated roads .

For some reason the automakers here don't seem very willing to give us decent diesel engines in our cars or light duty trucks...I mean I can understand the serious heartburn on GM's part from their 5.7 gas turned diesel engine from the early 80's...God, that thing wasn't fit to be an ashtray.

But I mean their diesels from the Duramax on up have been pretty awesome...here's to hoping just for the fuel mileage. I'm sure they'll just shove a bunch batteries and a super large alternator in it for better gas mileage.

I do like the styling of the new truck, though. And with Ram and Ford ceding the market for small and mid-sized trucks, there shouldn't be much competition save Toyota...My only complaint would be the styling, for some reason, ages fast on GM's smaller trucks...just my observation.

You might like the Ford Ranger better . How long it is going to take Ford to bring to you guys in the U.S ? Yours no offense , has been the same for 30 years with slight updates with the years passing !![url]
