Has anyone seen "Working Girl"? It's such a cute movie. I watched it when I was a kid and loved it... Weird that my parents thought I was straight.icon_smile.gif

    This is the music video...

"Overboard" is another fun '80s movie, and also a close runner up.

This movie brings back memories of summers in the late 80s. Watched this over and over with my cousin.

"Overboard" is also another 80s favorite, never fails to make me laugh.

Girl cousin. We still quote each other lines from the movie to this day, even though we haven't watched it together since like 1990. Brings back a lot of good memories for me.

    "Star Stuck" (1982)

Australian new-wave rock musical. I don't believe anybody has seen it except me and my husband, but we both love it - quote lines from it a lot.

    All great movies.

Then there were all the Brat Pack Movies.

    Breakfast Club
    St. Elmos Fire

    Weird Science was good.

I actually really liked the Corey Haim/Corey Feldman movies like
    License to Drive
    Dream a Little Dream
    Lost Boys

I have one that I love that is kind of obscure that nobody remembers, but it's called How I Got Into College. It has Anthony Edwards (from ER), Lara Flynn Boyle, and a few others. It is funny.

Oh, and you cannot forget Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Classic. Still holds up today.

LOL. I'd forgotten about that. (As far as I recall, the movie was very forgettable.) Through some reservation screw-up my boss and I got booked into the hotel where they were making that movie. The hotel wasn't actually ready to open for business - it was mostly gutted except for the movie sets and a few rooms. (I imagine the rooms were for the cast and/or crew.) As far as I could see, they weren't actually filming while we were there.

As Iceblink already mentioned, If you like the 80's with their hairstyle and outfit, then watch "Married to the mob". I would recommend "Down and out in Beverly Hills".

Gosh, how can I forget "The Police Academy". It's not a legendary movie, but definitely it belongs to the big 80's.
