Will do well in his debate with Ryan. I mean very well. I think he will expose Ryan and his budget for what it is.

I don't think he's the inarticulate, bumbling doat he's made out to be in the news. ....comic relief for the news.

I actually do think Biden will do very well. In many ways, he's the most popular of all the prominent politicians right now. I also think Obama will do much better in the next two debates. I think Romney did so much flip-flopping last night that it threw Obama for a loop, but he won't let that happen again.

Romney dodged all of Obama's assertions about his horrible budget plans, and his jab at Obamacare being partisan is just crap; Informed Americans know that republicans were being obstructionists in congress, not because they didn't want to pass anything, but because they were trying to defeat Obama. They made it personal and gambled with the lives of Americans, and Obama needs to make it clear who he's fighting for versus who Mittens answers to.

I think Obama will be able to reevaluate how he needs to handle Romney, and we'll see a very different outcome in the next two presidential debates.

Biden will at least bring a smile and some common-sense approach to the debate. He'll probably make a lot of gaffes, though. Ryan will come off as condescending.

The pressure will be on Biden to really deliver after last night's trouncing of the President. He should also be very prepared be cause he will likely have his hands full with Paul Ryan.

I'll be interested in seeing how Ryan performs without his ubiquitous Powerpoint presentation.

    "Trouncing of the President ?"
Romney bullied the moderator and told an endless stream of lies (proven by all manner of fact checkers).
And, President Obama failed to call him on it.

I guarantee that Vice President Biden will not be so generous with Paul Ryan.

    47% ! 47% ! 47% !

Keep expectations lowered, clearly Republicans thrive on exceeding expectations in debates icon_wink.gif

If you guys are expecting a sequel of Biden vs. Palin, well, don't get your hopes up.

Ryan isn't the cutesy ditz that Palin is. Forrest Gump could have beaten her at a debate.

As a Congressman, Ryan never debated a guy as experienced as Biden. Biden will surely be the attack dog unlike Obama.

Ryan isn't exactly a slouch. He's a bright man, he'll hold his own just fine against Biden. May even surprise some people.

It should be a good debate, as long as Biden calls out Ryan on the constant lies, something that Obama was unwilling to do the first time around with Romney.

Unfortunately for the Democrats, veep debates don't mean much. Lloyd Bentsen eviscertated Dan Quayle in '88, but HW Bush still won.

Then again, unfortunately for Republicans, the first Presidential debate doesn't mean much. Reagan's first 1984 was an unmitigated disaster, but he won anyway. Obama has effectively lowered expectations for the next two debates -- the pressure is now on Romney to keep his momentum.

Biden will do poorly and Ryan will do great. Obama doesnt even like to confront Ryan on issues because everytime he does Ryan makes him look stupid and Obama doesnt even know how to respond. Look for Ryan to continue on the horrible economy and jobs numbers and Obamacare and Biden will have no answers except to wander and go off topic like Obama did. The VP debates usually mean very little in the presidential race but in this case this debate might cause a little tremor.

You obviously don't know how tenacious Ryan is. He would even slaughter Romney in a debate if he wanted to.

I think the affable Biden will surprise people, just like he did with his speech at the convention. He's not a boob.
