Lots of gay guys answered "yes" .. as they think that gay guys are more intelligent, sensitive, have great taste in everything and are a combination of the femine and the masculine worlds .. which makes them just better than straight guys .. I admit, I agree .. What do you guys think??

We are generally more sensitive, more culturally-aware, in better shape, and more hard working. I think all of this stems from the internalized homophobia that many of us have that we are somehow lacking. We work harder, try harder and achieve me to compensate for a perceived lack caused by being gay. I personally see being gay as a gift from God.

Your worlds are small if you think one is better than the other, or I would think that maybe you were going to discuss more serious characteristics that would define a person as better, even though that is invalid as well, then farts and blow jogs. Unless you did a random sampling of say 100,000 men of each side, all over the world, then perhaps even the farts and blow job hits would be more valid.

Then there's the whole problem of pointing at your own group and saying that you're the best... Not to mention the people who are members of the group who are obviously deficient in whatever qualities are used to define best.

Ok I'l bust it down this way: Better: Gay guys: taste, sensitivity, attention to self care, effort on most types of projects, friends, adapt at dealing with challenges and uncertainties, more sophisticated, handing things professionally and with poise. Straight guys: mechanical things, less narcissistic, less neurotic, calm and relaxed, less easily upset, contact sports like football and martial arts, tend to that straight guy aura that says convert me (haha) tend to be better at having some balls ie asserting themselves and not putting up with peoples shit.

They have to take apart what is told to them and how they feel. Then they have to reassemble themselves and how they relate to the world. This makes for better integrated individuals, if they get thru it. Str8 menthe other hand are basically stupid apes.

Yet I live in the str8 world, as I find str8 men (note one did not say all) more accepting than gay men. Just look though some of these threads, and you can see how nasty, spiteful, so many gay men can be because another dose not think within their square, or think their country is the best on earth, or their religion. Str8 men are also have their trails and tribulations, youth is not just hard for a homosexual. They also have more responsibility. if they achieve it's has more to do with being a good provider, and not just pure status. Not only str8 men have things handed to them from family. One was born an aristocrat. One was born with status, so not all men are born equal. My sexuality has nothing to do with it, it would be the same if I was born str8. The only difference would be. One may of had a son to pass it onto. Are gay men better than str8 men, maybe at giving head. My str8 mates know how too dress sharp too. Lot of well educated dumb gay men too. Not just str8 guys. Oh as a pure homosexual. One whom lives out in the real world, and not a gay ghetto, and I've lived in both, and my life was not enhanced, for my mind broadened by living in a gay ghetto, yet it has from living in the real world. Yet I'm still a pure homosexual, and the only fag in the village. Oh nor is One self hating. I'm happy with being the only fag in the village. I am at peace with my sexuality, but maybe not the community I was born into. As I've found it to be superficial, mean, shallow. Where guys will put the right of their dick, before the right of another's life. Just One man thoughts. But to say gays are better than str8s. Good and bad in each. But I have two gay husbands, that I love dearly.

I know gay men who can only be defined as ASS And I can say the same of some straight guys... As well I can say I've met some outstanding men whose approaches to all apsects of life should be applauded and never once was I questioning their sexuality. Men are men... it's who you are that defines you, not what... Being gay is just another fabric of the person, much like the color of his or her skin - neither makes you BETTER. It's the threads that tie it all together that make the man.

I find the postive stereotypes come from the same kind of ignorance/narrowmindedness even if it's meant well. good fashion sense, good listeners, good dancers, lights of the party, artistic, creative, career driven... aren't the gays just fabulous? I met one at a party once! (when do they make a smiley icon that pukes ???) don't you just love black people too? they have such wonderful soulful singing voices and sense of rythm and music. and asians are such hard workers with such a talent for science and technology. I have a straight roommate and he's really good with assembling furniture and programming vcr's, and I'll pick out his wardrobe for him and give him advice on wine and cooking. but since he's not interested in sex with me I'll have to say gay guys are better

Mind you, there are the exceptions and I call them mates too.. but I think we are both equal and different.
