So Who's Voting Early?

I'm compelled to get it done as early as possible. I see no benefit for me to wait for Election Day (Tuesday, November 6) to go stand in a (hopefully) ridiculous line.

I've already figured out my "down-ballot" choices ("up-ballot" goes without saying, lol) and can't wait for October 15th when my state gets advance voting underway.

How about you other guys here in the US of A? Is your state doing early voting already? And are they any 'cons' to going to the polls early and getting it out of the way?

My state has no early voting and an excuse is required for an absentee ballot.

I've never actually ever voted. Kind of a consequence of being a citizen of 2 countries and hopping between them, you kind of don't feel a part of either.

I've already sent in for my mail-in ballot. Will be my first time using one. When I lived in Lauderdale my polling place was really easy and I never had more than a three minute wait but the line at my new location was a little long, parking was a bitch and I liked on another thread I think it was the poster gamrican's idea of getting your vote in early, just in case a bus gets you before election day.

Curious about that though: if you wind up dead by then, is that voter fraud? Oh well, might as enjoy a little mischief on the way out.
