Where can I buy a shirt like this?

Alright, so i've lost 28lbs in the last 5 months.. i'm finally able to wear nice, slim-fitting shirts..

Problem is, I HATE shopping.. i'm one of those guys that dreads having to pick out new clothes and I end up dragging my sister or a girlfriend(bi here) to pick stuff out for me. I also dont have any gay friends - all my buddies are straight, married and are as clueless about fashion and shopping as I am.

Strangely enough, I was watching Glee one night and saw Dean Geyer wearing this shirt and I really liked it. Where can I find casual, nice styles like this shirt? Something to help me show off my chest, arms and much-improved torso (went from 40in to 32). Something I can go to dinner with, see a movie with someone, just walk down to a bar and relax with some buddies.

    Thanks in advance!

Did you try Xpress? They usually have shirts that may be closer to what you want. That or maybe Macys? icon_surprised.gif

Closest i've come to this was on Andrew Christian - but since I dont live in LA, i'm loathe to buy something without actually trying it on first. Also, looking for something a little more casual.

Good choice. I have a couple of Henley shirts from American Apparel and they go good with pretty much everything in most occasions. Just remember to buy large if buying from AA, since they tend to run small...

I regret buying the synthetic blends even when it is nicely styled.

+D I'm surprised it worked! I'm glad I could help you. icon_smile.gif I don't know anything about clothes and such but I have shopped at Express a few times to know they make clothes specific to people with my build. :3

the one this guy from glee wearing is by daniele fiesoli. i have one just like this but in navy blue. horrible fabric quality, looks good the first 2 hours of you wearing it - then it stretches like crazy, you can't even sit in it without stretching the back and elbows. but fits great, i agree.

i would suggest something from american apparel, they have the best fabric/fit for the price you pay.

Vomit in agreement. Synthetics/blends are a bitch to wear unless you are working out.

I have a friend at Xpress and he verified they carry that shirt. Of course I asked about sales and he laughed.

Was going to comment on this and then didn't. Congrats on the weight loss and I can agree, I used to be a "fetch and get" kind of male shopper... you know what you want, you just need to know where to get it. I'm still that way with Christmas presents.

Don't let your style suffer just because you don't like shopping. You may find a trip to Xpress or other awesome store might be fun now that you are getting a body, eager to show your stuff. Go with a buddy and make it fun.... you may start to change your mind about shopping.

And about clothes....I think I have a great selection...the only issue is, you get what you like and it looks fantastic.. then something new comes out and it leaves you "wanting" again. Just try and keep it all in balance.. my largest challenge.

    Have fun with it!

You beat me to the comment I wanted to make about the guy!!

I love Express! My goal is to buy a black v-neck sweater they had on their website and pair it with some brightly colored shirts to make the outfit pop. Most days we can wear jeans at work, so the entire outfit would look great.

And to the OP, if you have outlet stores in your area check those out for some bargains.

Agreed. But I'm aware enough of my appearance that I don't have the body/face to pull off that look. icon_sad.gif
