I believe it does. Relationship status is in the same section and when a friend changes that, it shows up on their timeline. It seems like you should be able to delete it from the timeline, however.

I just have mine as blank. I used to have interested in females, but then I changed it to nothing. Even when I fully come out to everyone, I won't change it to guys. I barely do anything with my account anyway.

My Facebook keeps spamming my inbox trying to get me back, even though I deleted my profile within two weeks of joining...over 5 years ago.

    Mine says "Interested in Men"

Which is about all the energy I feel into "outing" myself to my "facebook friends" - apparently most of them don't read that anyway.

Mine used to say interested in women but I just made it blank. I don't know if it showed up or not, no one said anything I'm not out to my parents and my mom is one of my friends and she didn't say anything

    Mine's just blank.

If you do change it, it will pop up in your recent activity feed. Which you can delete so it doesn't show up in your friend's feeds if you'd like.

I had to go and take a look to see what it said.
It says that I'm interested in men.

I tried to put my relationship in status as "in a relationship with myself" but it wouldn't let me.

How is Facebook gunna tell me who I can't love!!?

Too bad you can't enter any sort of arbitrary information. Like I'm totally interested in finding some really good cake. icon_biggrin.gif

In the end it is all up to you. My has been "interested in men" ever since i came out. i look at it as i am going to be who i am there is no sense in hiding what i am proud to be.

Mine is just blank. I don't really care. If someone asks me if I am gay, I tell them yes and I have no problem asking other people if they are gay.

Blank but it's pretty obvious from the rest of the profile that I'm gay.

Mine is blank. I made mine in high school so I did not want to post for all to see that I was also into guys (aftermath of middle school taunting) yet at the same time I did not want to lie.
Now I just figure it doesn't mean as much

WhyWhySee saidMine doesn't show who I am interested in or what my relationship status is. I can't see myself changing my relationship status until I am married.

Same, but I intend to change it to "engaged" when I go through with my formal engagement in the coming months.

I changed mine to men and nobody took note of it so im assuming it isnt public. I did make a status finally coming out to all my old friends, not because I cared what they thought but because i wanted that burden lifted
