I am 5'7" and weight 143 lbs, I look thin overall and wear 30 waist jeans (comfortably, they are not tight). However my actual waist size is 34" that is when measured through navel and when I bring my stomach all out. I absolutely dont have a flat stomach.
I want to have a 30" waist, is it possible? I am 29 years old, is it too late for me now? I was reading online that it takes approximately 2 months to lose one inch, is it true or does it take longer.
Recently I joined spinning class, I must say I have never sweat this much in my life in one hour, I am completely drenched in sweat at the end of one hour class, it has been five days since I started the class and I have not had any pizza, and I have been measuring my waist every day since then, it is still 34" and it makes me sad, I have not lost anything from my waist, when will I begin to see the change? Thanks.

It depends on the intensity of your workout. You might not eat pizza but there are other things that can prevent you from losing weight. If you want to shrink your waist, I suggest endurance running 5k+. I am 5'8, 149lbs, with a 28 inch waist. You can do it.

I wouldn't say a time frame is a good gauge as much as pounds lost or body fat percentage dropped.

It might take you two months to lose five pounds where someone else might lose 20 in the same amount of time. Obviously if you lose 20 pounds your waist is going to shrink more than if you only lose 5.

To be honest man I wouldn't worry about it. No one will want to be with you cause of your waist size. Just live life and work out to be healthy IMO.

    Lipo has recovery and swelling.

A pound of fat has what, 3600 calories to it?

    ^ Lol.

But in case this was a real question, it's never too late. I've lost 4" in my waist in the past 4 1/2 months. You just have to lose weight (well, more precisely, body fat) and it's the luck of your genes where the weight comes off.
