    How To Die

Billions of dollars every year are spend on unnecessary procedures. We really need to work on this without people screaming death panels. I'm not sure how that can be done.

People like to remain alive, and their loved ones like to keep them around as long as possible. As long as the family is willing to pay for it, let them do what they want. If the taxpayer has to pay for it, then someone, somewhere, has to make a desicion, and this seems to lead directly to a death panel. Very complicated issue.

    "DEATH PANELS" ?

Thank you, Sarah Palin, for sucking the intelligence out this conversation.

Bill Frist, FORMER REPUBLICAN SENATE MAJORITY LEADER....and a doctor

SUPPORTS OBAMACARE-------in part because it addresses the huge waste in spending on testing and procedures for clearly terminal patients.

PREVENTATIVE CARE is the key to overall cost savings as Frist says:

“As a doctor, I strongly believe that people without health insurance die sooner. Sure, they can eventually go to an emergency room. But it is often too late. They wait longer to get a breast lump checked out. They wait until their nagging cough turns into a fulminant pneumonia. They skip preventive care and then show up to the ER with severe, costly, late-stage symptoms that are harder and more expensive to treat,” he wrote.

Check out BillFrist.com for a conservative rejection of the BullShit coming from today's Republican Party.

WRONG! Don't mislead here by trying to make people think something that simply is not true. Former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist supports Health Care Reform, as do pretty much all politicians regardless of their party affiliation, but he does NOT support Obamacare in it's current form. That's not to say that he doesn't support certain elements of it -- he does -- as does Mitt Romney.
