I have this fear that Biden will say "GM is Alive, OBama is Dead!" tonight.

    You? icon_wink.gif

I have a fear that Ryan will be so tweaked on Wisconsin meth that he'll catapult himself onto Biden and they'll both fall off the stage.icon_eek.gif

Thanks for that funny trip down memory lane. You just know SNL is gearing up for what they can take away tonight.

No fear, I already know what the game plan is for the Dems tonight. Grandpa Joe will attack like a pit bull and Ryan will have to sit there and take it otherwise he will come across as arrogant and condesending towards an old stupid man. Biden is smart and cagey and Ryan knows it. Ryan is way smarter than Biden but he cant come across as a total ass about it. Ryan will be calm non-attacking and simply state facts and the past 4 years of failure while Biden will need to attack and shift the focus back on Romney instead of Obama's poor debate. This is a huge moment for the democrats and Biden tonight. Many will say he debated Ryan to a draw after tonight. Ryan can mop the floor with Biden if he wants but its not in his best interest to do so. Biden will talk about the 47% and the billions of tax breaks for the rich and Ryan wont get trapped. Biden wants to make this a pissing contest tonight but Ryan will stick to talking about new direction and new leadership. Its going to work !!

The needle is going in the Romney direction ever so slightly but it should be enough to win the white house if they continue on message.

What message is that, screwing the mass majority of Americans and giving tax cuts to the wealthiest 1% the group that has no legitimate right demanding a tax cut in the first place. You are just infuriated at the democrats because your hometown of Milwaukee has had some very severe urban problems over the past decade. Oh well, that isn't Obama's fault. That is local leaderships fault. Get over it.

The local leadership in Milwaukee is horrible and has been for years. They have been all democrats since I have been alive. LOL, How did what I had to say about the debate tonight steer your head into a rant about Milwaukee?

I watched the entire debate at a bar with the sound down and the captioning on. Let me tell you, it was one feisty debate even that way!

I am proud of what Biden did.

I have a fear that CJAZ is nursing his wounds after his team lost the debate, and now he might have to lash out on some gay kid on youtube just to make himself feel better.icon_evil.gif

I get it that you so desperately need to think Biden won the debate so as to lift you out of that funk you've been in, so keep thinking that. I think the proof is pretty much in the pudding based on all the polls being taken that run the gamut that this debate had no winners and no losers --- only high and low points. Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, so go with that icon_wink.gif

It was a draw only in the sense that both sides got what they wanted from their candidate... I think dems have the most reason to cheer though, because Biden stopped the bleeding that came after the last debate. I heard commentary comparing it to what Cheney was able to do after Bush did poorly in his first debate with Kerry. Basically, it leveled the playing field for the next debate.

And if I seem desperate, it's only because the furture of the entire gay community is at stake.

Well, when you put it THAT way...I'll agree with you. After Obama's debate performance, anything Biden did that was deemed an improvement was reason enough to cheer icon_wink.gif

The democrats are so easy to figure out. I nailed the debate tonight, I love they think that Biden won when the big picture is that he actually lost. He appealed to the minority base and they loved it.....see the responses on the posts....but he actually turned off far more Americans by his antics. Another loss for the dumbocrats. Keep up the great work !

Yeah, because Americans really want a couple hacks (Obama/Biden) and their death panels to make decisions about their healthcare for them.

Death panels? Really dude? I know you have to have a few screws loose to be a gay man and voting for Republicans but Jesus Christ man put down the kool aid. icon_neutral.gif

Oh and the females I know who watched the debates liked that Biden had brass to interupt Ryan when he was lying and also stick up for the rights of their bodies. Just Sayin' icon_wink.gif

The females I know (not all Republicans) called Biden's performance cringe-worthy. I think the reports and polls and editorials around the country the day after the debate pretty much speak for themselves. Only the hardcore glued-to-MSNBC liberal could walk away from this debate thrilled with Biden. I'm not saying Ryan won it either, but he passed the test and that's all that really mattered to voters. Biden was Biden. I don't think his antics really surprised anyone all that much. If that would have been Ryan snickering, and laughing, and rolling his eyes constantly interrupting this would have been headline news. No doubt that SNL will have a field day with this.

Well we had different expereinces talking to women about the debates. Not all my female friends are liberals. Many are independents who go for the canidate usually who is more in the center. Some more center right and some more center left. None were bothered by Biden interrupting Ryan when he was caught in lies because they were wondering why Obama did not do that with Mitt in the last debate. They also were wondering why when Biden or the moderator would ask Ryan questions directly he would dodge the questions. This bothered them. Also Ryan's super conservative views on women's rights and choices did not sit well with them.

When most of the right wing media pundits and their followers only talking points are about Biden's smiling during the debate and not the content or substance of his views it speaks volumes. More dodging the real issues and focusing on distracting with the petty stuff.

The debate did Biden and Obama's team well. It sure as hell was not bad for them.

Not among their base it wasn't bad for them. But among independents and undecideds --- that remains to be seen
