A never-ending cycle. She cudnt see the light. Wish she was stronger & said, "Fuck all u assholes, I'm not gona take this bullshit anymore!" & stood up for herself. We're here for such a short time. Wish she cud see beyond her present state & a future for herself.

It's hard to get up from depression without a friend and she didn't seem to have one.

Wow that is very tragic and deep down it bleeds out within me how such beings are worth living when what they just see in this realm of physical life. And its pretty sad those who enjoyed it and made it all happen, life will never get better for them somewhere near future and always till they justify her shoes.

A life thats worth more then anything else in this world are into them of Debt! I bet they could never end paying up all their Credit Sin Card!

Sometimes I just don't know where are these angel like being when there is such need to be reach out.icon_sad.gif

It probably could have only took one friend / stranger to save her life.

So sad. She had friends, she had support (from family and professionally). The fact of the matter is the bullying 'overpowered' all the support she got. This isn't about her not being loved or not having friends this is about bullies making her life hell until she couldn't take it anymore. I know kids can be monsters but the bullies in this case seemed (to me) to be especially horrible and cruel.

I have no doubt those who loved her did everything they could for her but sometimes 'the mob' can be too hard to face. Such a sad story.

    RIP Amanda

wow, some people make me sick. I hope this haunts the ones who brought her to this outcome for the rest of their lives. They know who they are. And for the ones who didnt help, they should be ashamed.

watching this was not good for me,

i had a sister that tried to take her life at 13, after being sexually assaulted. she has been left quadriplegic, and is fighting for her life, she had everything, this just goes to show the fucked up people on this earth,

RIP Amander, i don't know you, but god knows what you were going through, MWAH

I understand the major loss of Amanda,

but her case happens daily. Time after time we have someone who has followed the same things she did, and we just forget about it.
The main problem in our world is, we live off other people flaws, which makes us greedy.

When the love for power is greater the then power of love, then will we know peace.

OK but when are you all going to go stand up for someone like her in real life? Is she you, or your sister, or your boyfriend? When do we take a shovel to the face of the haters and make them stop?

Honestly heart breaking and it just seems to keep happening to so many kids 14-16. I was bullied when younger but the internet must just make things so much worse for these kids who have hardly lived at all.

Also the fact that she was suffering from depression did not help either..

This needs to stop, who does not want a better world... I do..

She was a child, and it's hard for me to understand posts that infer the wherewithal and emotional strength of an adult. icon_sad.gif

As well, being a child, she allowed a pic of her topless, which was used to harass her in a 'gone viral' way. There's no escape from that. What's worse is it didn't stop when she died.

Oh my God, watched that I was a little skeptical at the start, thinking it was a little selfish but that was miserable.

Poor Amanda, if only she kept on living and had the strength to do so
    Those people were awful though

This kind of stuff will become even more common if R&R get elected next month...not that many people actually care, though.

Interestingly enough, the person who posted her pic to Facebook will face 10 years in jail for publishing child pornography under Canadian law. Since she has died, I am sure the police will be looking into charges against anyone who does possess her pictures. That film was terrible and definitely brought tears to my eyes. I have dealt with suicide before and it is heartbreaking how terrible some people can be.
