Top 5 Things You Like About Your Body

    When I looked at myself the other day after a workout, I realized I was again looking at my "flaws" and where I can "improve" on physically. My body is like another person. I keep on telling "him" you are not good enough, yet I never acknowledge all the things I take for "granted" on a day to day basis. I realized as important as working out is, it is also important to take care of your mental well being towards yourself. Without proper acknowledgement and positive feedback you will not likely want to workout, or produce sustainable results (or alternatively, have great results, but harmful to oneself).

    I created this thread to be a place where you can think about all the positive things your body offers you. Think about it and give your top 5 things (its okay if you can only think of 3 or 4) you like about your body.

    Here are my top 5
    1.) My legs can run 5KM (3 Miles) no problem under 25 minutes
    2.) I have a small frame and I seriously don't need to go on a "diet"
    3.) My arms can lift 20 to 25 lbs dumbbells
    4.) My legs, and back allows me to bend in ways others find difficult
    5.) My body is transformational. I been working out 6 six times a week and it never quit on me.

    interesting thread, i like:

    a) My length and how its distributed.
    b) i like having a "long" torso which still looks good with my legs lenght
    c) My eyes (when i wear blue my eyes seem blue, green and they go green... wierd.. but fun). i know its not my eyes changing, but still, who cares, it looks cool, lol.
    d) My jaw line
    e) my shoulders
    f) my upper legs
    g) my chest

    1) I like my overall body because it's proportionate to itself.
    2) Arms (getting bigger and more toned every day)
    3) legs (nice and lean and muscly)
    4)Dick (it's always been one of my favorite parts of my own body)
    5)And Since working out more I have come to really like my chest. It's still getting better, but it's nice now and I like how quickly it's shaping up.

    1. Overall, I like that my body is healthier and better-looking than those of probably 90% of men my age (almost 56).
    2. The split and peak of my biceps.
    3. My abs (not that many guys my age have a six-pack).
    4. My ass is still high and round (though I think being Black gives me a natural advantage in that arena).
    5. My pecs - I can make them bounce, which a lot of boys like. ;)

    This is a fun thread - I suddenly feel better about myself than I have in quite awhile. icon_smile.gif

    PS: I haven't mentioned my dick, since I can't take credit for it - lucky genetics.

    I know where some are coming from here. When I first started in the gym, I was very out of shape and fat. Now I've lost about 80 pounds of fat and put on 20-22 pounds of muscle, but when I look in the mirror, I still see that last bit of fat around my middle...sigh. So, focusing on the gains and good stuff:

    1. I possess great health...cholesterol at 154, all other numbers are great, so I'm healthier than 95% of the guys around my age (51),
    2.I have a long frame, with long arms, legs and nice width to my shoulders, so I carry my weight well; I notice I get the occasional second look from other folks...always so good for the ego,
    3. The increased stamina...I can ride 50-60 miles uninterrupted at a good pace (16-18 mph).
    4. Way better balance...I've always been a clumsy fellow, but due to working on TRX, the BOSU and stability balls (I can balance on one of these on my knees and do bicep curls, shoulder presses and stuff...not really useful and I feel like a circus animal, but fun!),
    5. I have greatly increased strength...I love to feel how strong my body is when I move.

    Since I'm on a roll, I'll add a bonus...sex is so great when you have better stamina, flexibility, balance and strength!

    1. Good hair. I like the color and have gotten many compliments.
    2. Eyes. I used to get many compliments.
    3.Smile and laugh. Infectious to all those around me.
    4. A little bit of natural flexibility.
    5. My legs. The only part of my body to avoid getting fat. (Hate my feet though)

    2) they're also strong enough to lift my body weight when I Rockclimb.
    3) My back. I got a nice V shape goin on, yeah!
    4) My shoulders, though they could go broader(?)
