Does this mean the man in the moon is actually a deceased bumper car driver?

"Scientists have been looking for this kind of sorting by mass, called isotopic fractionation, since the Apollo missions first brought Moon rocks to Earth in the 1970s, "

So the moon landing was real?

    (& wasn't Apollo in the 60s?)

Although this has been the accepted theory for some time, I'm glad conclusive evidence has been found. Now for Curiosity to find something awesome.

The Sun is 4.5-4.6 billion years old.
The Earth is 3.8-4.5 billion years old.
The Moon is 4.5 billion years old.

Just googled the above instead of getting up and looking inside books I have from the Rose Center for Earth & Space in NYC.

I didn't see in the article approximately when the collision occurred to create the Moon.

If you come across any drawings of the Solar System before that collision and before the asteroid belt was created, probably by collision, please share.

    Thank you.

Um, I think I was just kidding. I was alive then ya know. I seem to recall the events as they unfolded. Hell, during 11's planning, I debated my 3rd grade class about infinite space, did up an entire classroom wall, well, a big bulletin board (my early nerd days), & put together a model of the lunar module to show the class how it would separate, land and take off. I'd have set off a Estes rocket had they let me.

it clearly says the apollo missions, not the apollo mission. there were apollo missions in the 70s. deal with it.

It clearly says first brought back in the 70s what was first brought back in the 60s. You deal with it.
