(Playing devil's advocate): Do u think those who go out of their way to make fun of others will one day bite them in the ass? That all the bad karma they've put out will catch up to them sooner than later & the ones they made fun of will get the last laugh?

There was this football jock in high school who was so hot, but he was the biggest jerk. He taunted & bullied all the gays & nerds. I think he was a homophobe for a reason, something he saw in them that he saw in himself that he didn't like. Well, one nite him & two of his buddies went mailbox bashing. He was in the back of his friend's pickup with a bat. They wud speed up close to a free-standing mailbox & he'd hit it with the bat. Well when they sped up to the third mailbox, his friend who was driving, laughing not paying attention, crashed into a telephone pole, throwing the hot football jock out of the pick up way up in the air & landing the wrong way on to the street cracking his vertebra. He lost all use of his legs & lost his opportunity to play football in college & has been in a wheelchair all these years now. And he actually became friends with some of the gay classmates he used to make fun of and came out to them. It's a shame he had to become partially paralyzed to find the error of his ways & that he has to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.....Do u think all the bad karma u put out comes back to u ten-fold?

Hmmm...I don't think karma works that way. I think that instead one day they'll be in the position of those they mocked, and then will remember the mocking they did in a rather painful way.

No, I don't. Imagine that instead of being paralyzed he'd fully recovered under the care of an openly gay dedicated doctor. I think the end result would have been the same. icon_wink.gif

I don't believe in spiritual karma, but you do reap what you sew. It's always best to treat others as you would like to be treated.... Sometimes (to play devil's advocate) I treat people they way they treat others... Does that make me the Karma Police???icon_idea.gif

There is some logical basis in the idea, but not as some mystical equalizing force...

No, I don't think that 'karma' will always catch up with people. Some just get lucky.

Hmn.. being a spiritualist I do believe in the mystical force behind karma but I also believe despite the mystical aspect of things there are consequences that will follow one and haunt one sooner or later.

But then again, not everyone (in life) gets sniped and it doesn't always work immediately or ways which we can understand.

Just what I think though. icon_cool.gif

To GonzotheGreat: The devil's advocate disclaimer prevents drama-hungry fuelers from creating drama & unnecessary roughness. It separates the "I" in "u".

Sounds like what was first a curse has now become a blessing for him and others. Grace, not karma!!

To Mileshelvetic: He has skin infections now, wounds that never heal from sitting in his wheelchair 247. And his liver is damaged from all the prescribed drugs & painkillers he's taken since the accident. His life span's been shortened because of the accident. He went from having all the girls in h.s. to none. He has no use of his penis, cant get erect. Is it a blessing?

Sometimes, life just gives you a curve ball, at least he's been given the chance to redeem himself now. He probably is a better person now but somethings gotta give.

Well what is Equally given out is Equally given In.

Action causes Reaction where Reactions causes Action of the same energy! that was given out from the start.

We live in the realm of binary substance, the make of two that rotate, that balances up ongoing life and pattern on earth!

On that football jock He has the weight! of unfinished business and is in him! from a care free perfect to such friends It is in already a made whole of him!

And Karma is a word that many have failed understanding it, never it was chain reaction which is more like circle of life.

On a simple note good or bad ,Karma is just a Mirror that reflexes everything you do on a stand alone Energy!, you are You as a whole as One that runs freely on its own!. You are the balance sheet, you are the transaction log. Well talking about how it comes back in a ten-fold or how long it gets back, thats a very subjective terminology as someone mention Luck and "Concept". I shall give you a picture that define those words above, incorporated with the word you use "Karma"

have you heard games such as Carrom?.. Snooker? or Pool? they work just as much the same.

The choices you made in life, so as the bitch in you! icon_wink.gif,

Nope. All the people I meet in life who are total d-bags are generally the most successful and the ones who have life handed to them.

If karma didn't exist, how else would you explain natural disasters?

Fred Phelps knows what I'm talking about.
