So, I didi the 10k human race by nike and it was great. I didn't know there were going to be so many people.

Anyone else ran?

I had a great time and if it ever happens again, I'll definitely do it again.

BTW my time was 1''00'12

I ran in Austin.

My time was 1:03'28" - I was pretty pleased with my time considering I killed my feet the two days before the race wandering around Austin (very cool city) and I was not prepared for the hills!! Ah well, I'll probably do it next year and hope to improve my time.

If I had realized Matthew McConaughey was running, maybe I would've gone a little faster, haha!

Met up with TexanMan82 after the race to listen to Ben Harper - I'm not a huge fan but he put on a great show.

Which one were you in ? I had a very close friend of mines do the one in L.A. Then went to the Kanye concert right after. I heard thier was like 12thousand people their, well, go figure. Fastest man clocked in at 30mins+ something else. I myself would have competed but, tis was my birthday, and at 8 at night, was hit faced long before that.

As joggerva said, we both ran in the Austin race. my time was 55.23. I wasn't prepared for the first 4 miles being uphill. Also, once the adrenaline wore off after the first couple of miles, I hit a bit of a wall. But, I picked it up after mile 4.

It was my very first race and I really enjoyed it. Once my friends upload some pictures, I'll post some.

I didn't have any pictures taken... they had photographers out there taking pictures. Brightroom is the company that did Austin's race - which is where I found the photo of me. Was there a professional photography company in Mexico City (assuming that's where you ran)?

Not that I remember, but there was an helicopter filming us.
I'll have to check if there's a video or photos.

And I ran in Monterrey, the second most important city in mexico, it doesn't appear in the nike+ map

I did the race in NYC -- it was a beautiful evening for a run. They timed it perfectly with the sunset. Only real hiccup was an unfortunate human traffic jam a half mile from the finish. The 3 mile / 2 loop course went over narrow footbridge -- by the second loop, the fast folks had caught up with the slower folks and it was wall-to-wall bodies in a near dead-stop trying to cram over that bridge. We all lost about 2-3 minutes dealing with that mess.

I was in Austin that weekend, I didn't even know it was going on. My friend and I drove downtown that day and spent a good deal of time cursing the lot of you...parking was a bitch!

You should have just parked and walked everywhere. See the sights and the eye candy at the same time.
