Congrats, Funk. And if I'm ever in need of emergency services in Pasadena, I hope it's you who picks me up. I'd prefer using the "family" discount, if possible.

    ;-)

I doubt he's talking about the one here in LA!
It's probably Pasadena in East Texas. icon_biggrin.gif

    Thanks guys!

Yeah; I'm really excited about this. I had been in the process of getting hired on with ETMC here in pasadena (yes, it's TX) and had to wait a MONTH after turning in my application to start the processing as I wasn't old enough to be on their insurance driving the ambulance. (really shows my age, eh?)

I really really really really really really really hope I get the spot; as It would open up a humongous area of opportunity for me (usually 911 services want you to have 911 experience; so it's kind of hard to get on with certain services unless you've been with a fire department)

I'm talking to the hiring man tomorrow morning; we got in touch last week and I asked him how things were going; he told me he had actually sent an email to their HR department asking about my status that morning. Plus, now that I've got my Intermediate; I've got any other guys that were trying to get on as basics beat. icon_biggrin.gif happy happy happy!
