In a Detroit News 2010 interview, Iacocca praised the Obama administration for its handling of the auto industry.

"Two years ago, it looked like Detroit and Michigan and the car business was in the toilet," Iacocca said. Now, with all three companies on the upswing, he says, "things have turned out pretty well."

It seems he and Mitt have one thing in common: flip-flop.

TrentZ saidIacocca and George Romney were fellow auto executives and friends. Iacocca has a 50 year friendship with the entire Romney family...including Mitt Romney. Iacocca's endorsement has more to do with that, than any talents at the government level.

In fact, Lee Iacocca had this to say about Mitt Romney as governor...

Detroitnews.com...he didn't set the world on fire as a one-term governor of Massachusetts

    From The Detroit News: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20121018/POLITICS01/210180513#ixzz29pyQoytP

Talk about a back handed endorsement! icon_wink.gif

As Paul Harvey used to say: "And the REST OF THE STORY"....

Why do I keep hearing Iaccoca referred to as a "lifelong democrat?" He campaigned for George Bush in 2000 for fucks sake.
