Between them and Honey Boo Boo, how could you possibly go wrong?

    http://times247.com/articles/obama-receives-endorsements-from-three-dictators

The latest [dictator] to publicly announce his support for the commander-in-chief’s reelection bid was Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, who this week assured he’d vote for Obama if he were from the United States. The America-bashing strongman made the announcement on state-owned television, saying “Obama is a good guy” and that if Obama was from Caracas, he’d surely return the favor by voting for Chavez.

Earlier in the year the government-official daughter of Cuban military dictator Raul Castro proclaimed her country’s support for Obama during a visit to the U.S. “I believe that Obama needs another opportunity and he needs greater support to move forward with his projects and with his ideas, which I believe come from the bottom of his heart,” Mariela Castro said during a cable news interview. ...

That brings us to Russia’s Vladimir Putin, who has eliminated most elections in his country, monopolized all major media and destroyed the political party system. ... In a letter to a major newspaper, the president of a group dedicated to expanding freedom around the world points out that under Putin there has been an “across-the-board crackdown on civil society.” The piece goes on to ask: “Will Obama stand up against Putin’s abuses?” Unlikely, now that the Russian dictator has extended his endorsement.

It was Raul Castro's daughter that endorsed Obama, not Raul Castro. Still not someone I would put at the top of my endorsement list, but since she is an LGBT activist it shouldn't come as a surprise that she prefers Obama over Romney.

Putin did not formally endorse Obama. He said “Is it possible to find a solution to the problem, if current President Obama is re-elected for a second term? Theoretically, yes, my feeling is that he is a very honest man, and that he sincerely wants to make many good changes. But can he do it? Will they let him do it?” Isn't that a good thing, coming from leader of a country that Romney called our number one geopolitical foe?

Can't really spin the Chavez thing other than to say big deal. Chavez was correct in atleast one regards though, He and President Obama are both dealing with the extreme right.

He's got Hollande and Cameron in his corner, that should even things out. Or is Hollande too scary of a socialist for your taste?

Is riddler another one of Priebus/Romney's paid operatives?

Will the RealJock site admin to nothing to protect the integrity of this website by banning the IPs of CJAZ, riddler, freedomisntfree and the rest of the Republicans violating the site's terms of use by using it as a political experiment for which they are being paid?

Heh - why not just ban you for being a moron? Well, I suppose I'd settle for cray-zee. But to be honest I'd rather you stay given how well you represent those you purportedly support.

You people really are certifiable. Why on earth would anyone pay us to be here? Clearly the local hens in the house are slowly becoming unhinged. If Romney wins the election, there is no telling what you'll do icon_eek.gif

(pssssst...does anyone know where we can apply for the "political experiment" gig. Heck, if we could get paid for being here I could make a fortune!!!) icon_wink.gif

Todd, RJ member DOMINUS helps to explain it to you:

" I also noticed that the posts of a couple of people here get over 10,000 hits within a few hours of posting, which is quite impressive--assuming, of course, that they're not artificially stimulated. As a "Washington insider," however, I do know that both camps have bloggers, posters, and other online "service providers" that they hire precisely to spread their message, many of whom are compensated based on certain metrics (one of which is the number of times that their postings, blogs, articles, etc., are visited by the public). It's a very interesting business and the mechanics are even more interesting."

Headless torso quotes "very discreet" unverified profile as source for anonymous "washington insider". Fail. I wish I were compensated for talking about my views but given that I've been almost entirely consistent since I joined, it seems rather unlikely I'm a plant but hey, I'm not the headless torso who believes in nameless very discreet profiles who claim they're washington insiders ;)

On the other hand, it's kind of amusing that those who are least swayed by basic facts solidly occupy the left side of the spectrum... but good thing for Obama he's been endorsed by all these despots and dictators... and now the UN!

I don't initiate ad hominem attacks. I do however respond to them. For me, the ideas are more important - though now that you mention it, it's far more likely that you're a paid plant than most of us given the timing of your profile...

You have to be paid, because no sane person would hold the beliefs that you have about your own rights and those that support you and those that don't!

I'm curious - what views do you think I have about my own rights? Are you entirely insulated from the economy? What do you suppose will happen if Romney takes the White House?

And Riddler supports Romney. So there are crazy extremists on both sides. Thank god none of these people will be able to vote on Nov 6th.

It figures that you'd be so dismissive of these idiots but that's also why the left has seen the rise of many mass murderers who kill in the name of "social justice". And yes - it's a good thing neither you nor those like meninlove can vote November 6th though it's also a good thing that views like yours are able to serve as comedy regardless icon_wink.gif

Incidentally, for those like you who claim to be so tolerant, why are you so intolerant of those who have differing views from your own?

I didn't realize parroting the talking points from the RNC counted as "independent thought."
