Kelly Clarkson - who is a Repub - is switching parties to vote for President Obama.
And the main reason that caused Kelly to switch parties is Romney's strongly anti-gay agenda.

    Way to go, Kelly!

And that's fair. Many moderates are going to be swayed by one issue or the other -- some giving the economy precedence and others giving social issues precedence. Either way, this is why the GOP needs to progressively annihilate the anti-gay factions within the base.

BTW, stop twisting the lingo. She didn't say Romney had a "strong anti-gay agenda", she cited that her reason for voting Obama was that he supports marriage equality and she has a lot of gay friends.

Sick of you shitting in our mouths and calling it chocolate.

Eventually the religious extrimists and bigots will be the undoing of the GOP. Might not be in my generation or the next generation but it is coming sonner then the GOP thinks. If they want to survive they better start changing attitudes about LGBT and womens rights real soon,

    Kelly is awesome!

Sad that Kelly Clarkson cares more about the freedom and equality of gay people than mocktwinkie and the other bootlicking, self-loathing house gays supporting a candidate who has pledged to amend the Constitution to deny civil rights to same-sex couples.

Kelly Clarkson gets it. Romney supporters do not.

No they won't. They are quickly being suppressed fast within the GOP, from the SuperPacs by rich republicans themselves supporting pro-gay candidates to the ever softening rhetoric and focus away from those issues. As far as "women's rights", I'm not sure what the hell you're talking about?

", this is why the GOP needs to progressively annihilate the anti-gay factions within the base. "

TRUE. Future conservatives will start a new party rather than join the GOP if it remains so overpopulated with BIGOTS.

But to "PROGRESSIVELY ANNIHILATE" anyone just because of their temporary ignorance...........seems a tad EXTREME.

Let's just start reminding them that no matter what their opinions----

----THEY CAN'T DICTATE their bigotry into laws that restrict our

    freedoms.

    mocktwinkles,

Speaking of the BIGOTS within the GOP, you say

". They are quickly being suppressed fast within the GOP, from the SuperPacs by rich republicans themselves supporting pro-gay candidates to the ever softening rhetoric and focus away from those issues. "

    I appreciate your enthusiasm ...

.....but there's no evidence of "ever softening rhetoric".

Look at CPAC and the RNC conventions of 2012.

GOProud was forced out as a sponsor of CPAC.

The Republican Conventioneers did NOT SAY THE WORD...."GAY"(nor allow any expression of tolerance into their platform).

If anything, Republicans in 2012 were more than eager to look back

to a time when they didn't have to think about gays.

You have to understand, again, that gay Republicans live out their days a delusional fantasy world of their own making.

That is how in their bizarro world the GOP adopting the most anti-gay platform of all time -- calling for permanently making gays second-class citizens with a Constitutional amendament -- translates in their brains to "ever softening rhetoric."

They have to lie to themselves about the Republican Party's homophobia because they are liars. They are also stupid.

    Twinkles,
    While we await your wit,

do you have any examples of Republicans

    using "EVER SOFTENING RHETORIC"

    in discussing "OUR HUMAN RIGHTS"?

BTW, we're not waiting on the GOP to soften their rhetoric.

By VOTING, we are making the bigots of the GOP......

You call Mocktwinkle a laughingstock? Bwaaaaaaaaaa. Coming from the guy who looks like Rupaul in drag without the wig. Now that is the true definition of sad.

That's all fine and good -- and GO KELLY -- but the real "game changer" will be if/when Justin Guarini endorses a candidate icon_wink.gif
