Show ur talent & post pics of ur own art on this thread.... icon_smile.gif

    I'll start it off icon_smile.gif

Checkout my art on flickr.com/photos/joselitoart or go to my RJ profile & click on the words "my art is my heart" & my artsite will pop up icon_smile.gif

I make these colorful abstract collages that I enlarge to 5x6 ft! Pretty cool stuff! Just one of many tangents of art I do on my artsite icon_smile.gif

I've recently started drawing my friends using pencil and charcoal earlier this year.
Now, I have no background in Life Drawing but I was an art major all throughout high school, and mostly focused on painting and photography.

Here is the latest drawing I have.

I do like to write poetry, I've been uninspired for some time now, but here's a poem as to why...

    Untitled-
    Do you know my name,
    As I played your game,
A foil to satyr your tragic comedies?
    Do you see me posting,
    On any threat you're hosting,
    With the significance I'm in?
    Perhaps I got too close,
Like a youthful spirit rising on waxing wings,
    Overreaching with my unwelcome embrace,
    Projecting perhaps,
    Never seeing how unwelcome,
    The ever changing expression,
    Hidden on your face,
    I can't make you,
Anything I need prefer you to be,
    Even if I could I wouldn't,
    Celebrating in your being,
    Everything that's wrong and right,
But I'll fold for what you want,
    Because I can't see,
    How taking from you,
    Could ever be what's right!

@Barrie: Haha, it's more of a hobby really, I haven't had the chance to draw anyone lately, but now, I'm tempted to take requests!
As for my day job, I don't think I'll trade it for anything else (well, besides being a billionaire! lol) I'm a chef, and a bartender in a swanky restaurant and side of catering job.

    @Caslon: Thanks! Much appreciate it!

    Here's another one I did as a Valentine's gift to a friend.

I'd be up for that challenge actually. Like I said before, haven't drawn anything recently but I'm tempted to start it up again.

Just send me a picture of you that I can use, perhaps something as big (or close to it) to the same size as my drawings. That way, I can add the details and whatnot.

Let me know what you think!

That's great! But, the idea was for something made for me, not of me... Like draw me a male nude angel or two in tangled passionate flight. The larger the scale the better.
