Two people have told me they saw me on Grindr, even though I'm not on it. So someone obviously stole my pic. Neither person remembers what the faker's username was, though.
    Suggestions?

I'd message that person and pretend to be someone else, just to see who they are and why they stole the picture.

Other than that, there's not much else that you can do about stolen pictures, I don't think. :/

I'd message them and try to hook up. I always wanted to have sex with myself.

That's what kinda sucks about the mobile apps. There's usually no way to search for specific people/profiles. You usually have to add them as a Favorite if you want to revisit their profile.

He might not be able to find this guy on Grindr if the guy is outside his radius. Gwriter is in DC - he won't be able to initiate contact if the guy is in Kansas. icon_confused.gif

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. You should give him a cookie.

Yea, sorry. I just couldn't help using your body as my own. icon_smile.gif

But seriously, I assume that grindr has a policy about this. Have you contacted them? They might ask the offending party to provide proof that it is indeed them. Because if you are in DC and the other guy is in, say, Kansas, I don't see any way that you can catch him in the act.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, but I guess I wasn't clear (although a few people got it). I don't know who it is, so I can't report him. It is someone here in DC, because that is where my two friends saw my photo. But they don't remember the person's username. So I have to be able to find him when he on there, and fairly close to me, to identify him.
Anyway... it is not the end the world. I'll let you all know if something interesting develops! icon_lol.gif

I'm gonna bet your friends are wrong.

I doubt a guy in the area is going to steal and use your pic.

I think your friends are stroking your ego.

    That's kind of flattering.
