There are few advantages to living in Cleveland, but this is one. No tornados, no hurricanes!

Just to clarify here - there have been over 900 tornados in Ohio since 1950 - and some have hit Cuyahoga County.

The frequency of earthquakes seems to be rising also, which means, Cleveland literally "rocks" at times.

Sounds really grim what you North-Easterners have to prepare for. Down here in Orlando it's just a lil' breezy today.

    Good luck to you

Why is everyone so mean about Cleveland, isn't it bad enough that some of us have to live here?

I don't understand why people avoid South Florida "because of the hurricanes." We haven't had a direct hit since Wilma, but everyone keeps getting slammed. This is the safest place along the coast. icon_cool.gif

Glad I won't be on Cape May Pt for this one! Hurricane Irene was a PIA but this one will be bad I fear. The "kids" and I are down in Moneta, VA (West side of the state.)

    Good luck big man! icon_eek.gif

My best wishes and prayers to all that live from Maine south to North Carolina.

I was one windy-assed day here in Orlando and there were even bits and pieces of the sun. Right now, it's a little breezy and raining. Nothing major, but dang....we must of had tropical storm force sustained winds for most of the afternoon.
