I just wanted to tell this story because it's just too ridiculously humorous not to share. So I went out tonight with a female friend of mine, just me and her, to a bar. It's a small town, bunch of other bars, good crowd, bunch of people dressed up in Halloween costumes. We go inside this Mexican-style bar and I order a couple drinks and we sit down and just chill for awhile. She starts talking to me about how her ex-boyfriend is coming to hang out with us also. I don't have a problem with it, it's cool. So whatever, he never shows up. LOL. But as I'm sitting there I realize I REALLY REALLY want to tell her that...

I like men. Hahahaha, I really had this crazy urge to just tell her. She's a friend I can really trust. Since her ex never showed up I wanted to leave because I could tell she was sort of upset and whatnot, so I said let's just grab something to eat. By this time it was almost 1am and I called a few places, kitchen closes at 1 icon_sad.gif. So we ended up wanting to go to the diner. In the car I was a little nervous, I was about to say "Listen, I have something really important to tell you". Literally about to say that. LITERALLY, must've been 2 minutes in the car, I see smoke. I'm like uh...I think your car is on fire. Her fucking car overheated just as I was about to come out. Hahahahaha.

Long story short, she was screaming at the top of her lungs at the gas station that her life sucked and needed a tow. I was left sitting on the curb eating an apple pie. She eventually got oreos and some other snack as we sat in sorrow. The whole ordeal was a joke. Too funny! Hey God, I like guys, now please can I tell my friends in peace!!!!

I think that would've been a really good time to tell her. Why not?

I wonder how she would've reacted if you told her in the middle of everything.

I can't tell if this is funny, or ironic. Or something else entirely. That sounds like it sucked though.

    LOL.
I have a three try policy for things like this. If I am interrupted three times while trying to say something I take it as a sign that it was not meant to be. It does happen once in a while, and have never regretted not saying whatever it was that had originally been important enough to want to mention. Each time it turned out for the better.

Sitting on the curb after all that had happened would have been a great time. Just think, you could have looked back on when you came out to her as the time all that insane crap happened. It would have made for a great story. Of course, it's all in the timing.
