I have various family members and friends that have started a business with their spouse. And all I can say is, that I would never do it. Too much drama and stress. But individual results may vary. So if you and your partner have a strong relationship and can work well under pressure, then I say give it a go.

My boyfriend and I write fiction together. I've been writing since I was ten, but for the past eight years he's been my writing partner and editor. The process can be volatile, but creating work together brings a lot of meaning to our lives.

I've heard writers say their books are like their babies. That always sounded creepy to me, even though it's sort of true. We both put so much of ourselves into all of our different characters that it's like they share our genes.icon_eek.gif

Not a partner, but I have worked with my dad. It puts a strain on the relationship, expecially since we were collaborating from our own fields of work.
