I've stocked the bathroom with food and water and radio. Surrounded fish tank with towels to keep in heat, and hooked up a back-up battery pump for them in case electricity goes out. Watching TV and looking at stuff on ebay.

    You?

I'm in a hotel in Boston....also I don't think it's gonna be as bad as they think....these things are usually taken to the extreme...based off my 24 years living in New England

I've gotten ready as if I'm going into work tomorrow morning. Since I dont have to drive on the highways and my commute is short, I figure I will be in the office at least for the morning. Otherwise, I just sat here and played the piano for a bit.

If it;s anything like the last hurricane that blew through NE a few years ago... I'm going to do absolutely nothing. That was the wimpiest hurricane I have ever witnessed.. more like a gusty thunderstorm.

Doing things that require electricity - since my power company sucks and we'll definitely lose power at some point. Last storm, in the spring, we didn't have power for 5 days. I can play the piano or read during the daylight so those activities are on hold for now.

I stocked up on groceries Friday evening and already staying in a hotel, so I'll have power if it goes out.

Cars are all tucked safely away, just got the call that work is closed tomorrow. Been watching scary movies and Charlie's Angels all day, just finished Prom Night (1980). To everyone in the storm's path, please stay safe.

Cleaned out the roof gutters and made sure the leaders aren't blocked.
Did all the laundry so clothes will be clean if there is an extended power outage.
Had a couple glasses of a wine I never tried before (it was fair, but won't buy that one again).
Kind of regretting that I went grocery shopping a few days ago since food will spoil if there is an extended power outage.
Hoping for the best and looking forward to seeing the rain. (I love rain/thunder/lightning storms as long as there's no damage I have to clean up afterwards.)

I went to watch Cloud Atlas... Weird movie, like watching a realllllly long trailer. Went to pick up laptop from office in soho so I can work from home, was kind of spooky I've never seen it so quiet before.

Now I'm eating all my storm rations and it hasn't even started raining yet :-/

Stocked up on food and added new films to my Netflix queue. I don't think this will be as bad as Irene was last year...and that wasn't even so bad here in Boston.
