Dont know what to do if i find out it could be that c word

    Im asking for prayers for a good friend of mine has to have surgery today due to colonoscopy. I looked up some information on it and it brought tears to my eyes. you know only 1 in 1000 surgerys are done because it just causes long term risks. as well as it can be caused by or cause colon cancer icon_sad.gif Wtf thats all i need to know another family member who might have or get cancer lets see my mom had cancer my aunt died at ae 45 to cancer my grandmas had cancer my dad has skin cancer now him then whos next!!!!!!! :'(

    Hang in there and act on information, not fear. Imagining what it may be is not going to change anything. When you know you will be able to stand by your friend. Until you do know, just let those prayers count for him getting well. Will light a candle for you both.

    On the hopeful side, at least your friend's tumor was discovered while it is still operable. Routine colonoscopy has saved many lives. Depending on the staging of his tumor, your friend may have a normal life. Don't despair. Your friend will need your support and encouragement in the months ahead.
