The call came as recent data shows Obama with a small, but persistent lead in enough states to win 270 electoral votes. Wednesday was a particularly rough day for Romney on that front, featuring new surveys in which Obama held a solid lead in Ohio, surged to an 8-point lead in Wisconsin, and even led by 5 nationally in one case. But Romney aides insisted things were on the right track.

    Yup.

And it seems that the Jeep lie by Romney is beginning to backfire.

The RCP poll of polls has both candidates tied on the popular vote and Obama ahead in the electoral college. (And that is before the President's handling of the storm disaster has been taken into consideration.)

I wonder if Chris Christie will become the Republicans' scapegoat next week.

Oh well, he can probably forget the presidency, but he is virtually guaranteed Governor of NJ for life.

Things are looking good for Obama.. but I think what will put him over is the concern, time, effort and real leadership shown because of this tragedy.

    I think it's already a done deal.
