I can't take the ads anymore.

I reached the breaking point tonight after I had seen the same 2 opposing Senate candidates commercials air for about the 1700th time. These same commercials have aired at literally every commercial break for 2 straight days. Each one lambasts the other, painting them as the most vile human being alive. I finally had enough at 7pm tonight and turned off the TV. I'm in Chicago so we are not seeing many Obama/Romney ads, just local races.
    Anyone else burned out already?

I'm tired of hearing people complain about the election. If you don't like it, move to North Korea. It should be an honor to select your president and other members of government

You clearly didn't read my post. I was complaining about the mudslinging, vitriolic nature of the campaign ads. I wasn't complaining about my right to vote.

You need a 'BBC' - quality TV with no ads.

I don't pay any attention to all these political ads anymore. It is all childish, vicious mudslinging. No wonder most people get disgusted and don't bother to vote, who can blame them. I am slowly reaching that point myself.

Hang in there, just a couple more days. Then it's back to all the Big Corporate Gas, Insurance, Junk Food, Automobile, and Pharma ads you've been missing out on.

Also to sidetrack further, I want the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" gone, like, yesterday. It's only been good for keeping trolls in forty-dollar suits (and five-dollar skirts) gainfully employed.

TV? Come live in a swing state. The robocalls never stop! Ann Romney keeps leaving me messages.
