Hi, how can I better come to terms with preferring the bottom bunk and stop viewing it like it devalues me as a person?

Awesome post, exactly what I needed to read. Thanks icon_biggrin.gif

Edit: I also can't rationalise a shorter top, and it doesn't help that the tops I've been with turn into bottoms when stuff gets fun icon_evil.gif. Bending my neck to kiss a guy really sucks

When you're with someone you really love and trust, and he respects and treasures you, then everyone else in the world fades to nothing, all your fears vanish, and all that's left is the two of you, connecting in bliss.

I will jump in here for my two cents. There are so many more gay stereotypes about Topping/Bottoming than I thought. I am not a tall man but I am muscular and I am almost always expected to top. I am fortunate that I am wired in both ways, but the looks on some guys faces when they see me wanting to switch it up during sex is so fucking funny. And then the other stereotype about huge bodybuilders are just bottoms, ya kinda 70/30 on my experience!

OP – there is nothing wrong or devaluing about preferring to bottom, just as there is nothing special or superior about preferring to top. Both are physical sensations that give different amounts of pleasure and satisfaction to different guys. Whatever your preference, it has nothing to do with your intelligence and character as a person, your sense of humour, hobbies and skills, your ability to dream, hope, fall in love and have a fulfilling relationship (both sexually and emotionally), your professional interests and career, your potential to achieve great things in life and your value as a beautiful, confident and compassionate human being.

Whoever tells you otherwise is a sad fuck.
